why is this thread dead so fast? Im thinking of buying the console at the end of the month cmon lads, give us some updated impression, its been more than a month.

It's because there are still very few worthwhile games. Zelda is obviously great, but lots of the other games are too simple and SNES-esque. But Mario Kart will arrive in a couple of weeks, and more games will continue to come out, obviously. Do get it, if you have access to one at the end of the month.

Yeah, there is a lot more content for you to get through then. I have completed all 4 and still have tons to get through before I'm going to fight Gannon. Sounds like after you get the help of all 4 divine beasts, the final fight is fairly lackluster. I'm sure you've read about that.

there is plenty of stock in my country lol, but it is also almost $100 more expensive here as we dont have any nintendo support in my country. feelsbat.

I still have not beat zelda, but I only play about 1-2 hours a day at the moment. Looking to get closer to beating it this weekend.

Same here, didn't have much time to play so still a lot to discover.

The patches they released seem to have solved most of the framerate-issues in docked mode. That's a relief since it was really underwhelming the experience at times.

Because of a lot of people on this section don't have a switch.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe comes out Friday. Didn't personally have it for the Wii U gonna pick it up. Gonna be fun with all the new modes and online play.

got mario kart 8 on its way, never got around to it with wii u. only thing that's a bummer is everything is unlocked from the get go; there's something gratifying about playing single player and unlocking new characters/modes yourself

Had MK8 on Wii U but might buy again for portability factor. I probably play BOTW 90% portable and 10% docked. Even when sitting on couch in front of large TV. Not sure why just easier I love the portability and usually have something on the tv for background noise. Was GOAT during NCAA tourney. Haven't turned on Xone since I got it except for Netflix

i doubt it, show me a video of an affordable PC running the game at 30fps constantly without drops or glitches.

I dont doubt that people are playing other consoles/pc while they are waiting for more games to come out for the switch, but they are definitely NOT playing BotW on their pc lol.

I love my switch. 9/10 console for sure. Battery life was my only complaint but I bought a 20000mah power bank and it is a non issue at this point.

Zelda is a 10/10 game. I would look at it as a re-imagining of Zelda. If I look at it as a straight Zelda game, id have to give it a 9/10 based on the lack of some familiar things from the series (music, characters, lack of an ocarina...etc.).

That being said as a new addition to the franchise its the most fun free-roaming game ive played in a long time. There is so much to do.

This is coming from a guy who has almost 100gb in mods for gta5 on his pc.

Just finished BOTW. Took me over a month and over 125 hours. Got all 120 shrines. 10/10 for me.

Picked up a copy of MK8 Deluxe yesterday and downloaded Puyo Puyo Tetris on the internal memory (only 1GB).

Still need a lot of time to complete BOTW...

I honestly don't mind the "small" library, since I don' have that much time available to commit to gaming.

I looked up the last 4 remaining shrines (and the last 3 memory locations) on google because I lost patience. At that point in the game, it would take many more days of just wandering around looking for them.
