i knew botw was getting good reviews but it was still better than i expected. 10/10. legit feels like playing ocarina of time for the first time. they better patch the weapon durability though...the fuk.

I am on the waiting list.

Might play Zelda then sell it. The small library is fine, I think I said itt anyone who slams Nintendo for lack of 3rd party support would not play BF, Witcher, etc on a Nintendo system anyway. Nintendo is and always has been for it's 1st party greatness.

A Ubisoft shooter featuring Rabids, Mario, Peach, etc Nintendo characters holding and firing guns is apparently in the works, using the Snowdrop engine as South Park and I believe the Division uses.

damn bros, mario kart 8 portable is the way to play the game. I played it docked on the big screen, but it feels 100x better portable mode.

I was playing portable mode online in battle mode.... hhhhhnnnnnggggg so much fun, won a couple times in shine thief, coins, and balloons..


my favorite mode I played was renegade roundup with the family, chit gets intense when it comes down to the last man standing trying to free the other jailed drivers.

had a MK tournament/cookout on saturday. fuarkkkkkkkkkkk

had one switch in my living room and one in my game room. two separate 4 player cups with 8 CPUs on each at 150/200cc.

had about 20 people at my house. Everyone put 10 dollars in a "pot". Made sure everyone played at least 4 cups. and the top three in points got paid out at the end. it was fun, everyone was drinking and eating. I just wish you could go against each other (4v4 and 4 CPUs) with two switches. Probably gonna do it a little different next time but it was a blast.

Gonna be picking up MK8 next and might grab Splatoon 2 this summer if reviews are good for it (never played the first)

mario kart 8 would be my first purchase . Battle mode is 90% of the fun for me. They ruined it on the other 8 version.

Almost... but not quite for me. Being 14yo kid when OoT came out added another layer of enjoyment.

BoTW is great though. I opted out of looking anything up and it was 100+ hours of fun exploring the game on my own without any guides spoiling anything.

Currently enjoying Mario Kart with the family waiting for BoTW DLC and Mario this Winter.

Walked into Target last Saturday on a whim and picked up the last switch they had. I was extremely skeptical (was disappointed with the Wii and never bought a Wii u), but I have to say, Mario kart 8 alone made the switch worth it. Have played hours and hours with my wife already. Neither one of us has had this much fun playing games in years.

Also got Zelda, and I have to say that the graphics are not as bad as I feared, even on my 4k TV. It's a beautiful game and the whole weapon a breaking g thing hasn't bothered me at all. There is a ton of stuff to do, the world is gorgeous, and the difficulty is just right. So glad I bought this system.

Glad you were willing to take that risk. I think a lot of people forgot what it means to game, they think that having amazing graphics and killing people online is what its all about.

To me it's about having fun while playing games.

Yep, I'm loving my switch for this reason. I'm old, I grew up on NES and SNES. My son plays COD and stuff, but I just can't get into it for more than 20 mins at a time. The switch is something that my family plays together and we all have fun. Mario Kart is great. And I will spend hours playing Zelda
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, nonsubjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

visit smaller retailers like toys r us, ask to speak with a supervisor/manager/warehouse employee, get their truck schedule for the week, then show up the morning they open after the truck. It will be freshly stocked behind the glass or still in the warehouse waiting to be stocked. (srs previous employee)

I just got one, MK8 portable is freaking awesome. This may end up being my favorite console I think. Just hard to find time to play a traditional console or computer nowadays with work, kids, lifting, etc.

If you want to find one, setup a search on nowinstock, check it before bed nearby, then check it first thing in the AM, if a store pops up overnight, 100% they got it, just get there early and you'll get it. Did that a few days right by my house and got one no problem first try.
