Adam Copeland(Edge) Going to AEW?

I read wrestling news now and then, but I don't follow AEW. But past couple of days, big talk about Copeland going to AEW and might be debuting on a PPV tonight especially since Christian is main eventing it(wasn't even aware Christian is there lol).

What do you guys think? Will Copeland(not Edge) be in AEW? Kurt Angle do not think so though, cuz recently he said Edge is WWE 4 Lyf.

edge is gonna be a big help over there to guys like the acclaimed who are actually trying to be professional wrestlers and edge doesn't seem like he's gonna beef with the elite camp either. he's just gonna do his thing and give advice to people who ask. he's not gonna be like phil and try to impose his will on the company as a whole. hes gonna do his own chit right and it's gonna help the show.

i think edge could actually have a great match with kenny.

thinking about it, they would let Ric Flair do gigs technically outside of WWE

this is a different look for WWE, a less aggressive look & I think a lot of people can appreciate it

now you have Edge unrestricted back on the scene doing things he couldn't do in WWE

it makes sense from a business point of view, for all sides, even though they're in competition

WWE either let the Rated R Superstar trademark lapse or it was bought from them. Edge’s theme song was never owned by WWE it was licensed by them by Alterbridge the same way Cody’s theme is and CM Punks was in both.

WWE still owns the female voice intro though, so he had Beth Phoenix do a different version.

The wwe sued wcw for scott hall's use of his toothpick and various things 'similar to character razor ramon'. Edge full blown using his name, entrance and 'the rated R superstar' thing which is at least licensed for the wwe games is bold on edge's part. im glad to see he worked around it

Edge has been loyal to WWE for 20 years, he probably has a fantastic relationship with vince and spoke to him personally that he wanted to go have 1 last run with Christian and I wouldn't be surprised if Vince ok'd it. Vinces attitude with the guys he respects has always been "go get paid then come home after"

I imagine he will be back in wwe in a year, probably 2025 Royal rumble, to do a retirement run.
