NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS 2023 Thread

Pretty good card.

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar - cool but I find this feud kinda boring. Brock never explained why he hates Cody.

Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa - I hope those 2 Canadians lose. Sami's spotlight is over. Plus it is interesting - Roman and Solo vs Usos.

Seth "Freakin" Rollins vs. AJ Styles (World Heavyweight Championship) - want AJ to win. Seth is a *******

Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus - eh. Trish moves slow, which is understandable but I hope she wins. Hate it when an old wrestler comes back and always lose. So predictable.

Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair vs. Asuka - boring.

Rhea Ripley vs. Natalya - LOL

Intercontinental Champion Gunther vs. Mustafa Ali - LOL but Mustafa will get great pop. Always enjoy such moments.

Will be interesting to see who goes on last as the main event. Anything but Seth and AJ means WWE has confirmed no legitimacy to the new World Heavyweight Championship. I honestly hope someone does a run in and screws it up so no champion is crowned.

man the only thing I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around is this Cody and Brock feud.

I don’t understand it and I don’t see where u go with it…. Don’t understand the point. And now they’re trying to play it like Cody’s arm is broken now?

I saw a post about it on ******** and was in the comments section and someone was saying that there’s no way it’s even remotely close to believable that Cody could beat Brock with a broken arm and then someone pitched the idea of how it could be played up like a trick and I thought they were saying that either Cody’s dad or Orton’s dad did something years ago where they did like that and then got a cast on it and still tried to compete but then used the cast as a weapon, so idk? Maybe Cody could play it up like it’s legit with a cast and then go into the match and knock Lesnar out with it?

I mean, what other direction could u go that’s not gonna be a total flop? Lmao

My boy Cody has got this. I want Cody to win. I think they’ll have a trilogy and the big 3rd match they have a bull rope strap match . Like dusty Rhodes when he had one final great brawl with Steve corino in ecw. Which I may rewatch. But Cody vs. Brock at summerslam in a strap match makes all the sense in the world.

Apparently some plans for LA Knight are in the works at NOC.

1. Brocks opp if Cody can't compete.
2. Announced entry in MITB ladder match.
3. He holds an open challenge.
4. He's a run-in and F's up the Heavyweight Championship match.

Hopefully he does all 4. Yeah
