He doesn't call himself that for no reason.

Triple H built up Cody's storyline and the fans expected him to finish the story.

So when The Rock came in, he knew the fans would turn on The Rock, thus the return of The Rock as a heel.

Now, with the backlash from WWE fans, Triple H used it for the Wrestlemania XL Kickoff show and it led to what happened on stage with Roman, Rock, and Cody.

It looked like real life drama. Tensions are at an all-time high.

Triple H is creating a cinematic masterpiece, and you all received a lesson from the master of psychology.

ehhh if that's the case somebody slipped up with Cody saying "but not at wrestlemania" when addressing roman

i'm more of the opinion they pivoted and that's totally fine. you had to in this case.

I really hope Reigns retains, with Rock screwing Cody.

I think he simply changed the booking when fans reacted the way they did and it wasn’t an elaborate work at all.

Cody like Edge, Daniel Bryan & Punk is never going to be the man there like Austin, Rock, Cena & Reigns were/are.

before the rock was invovled i was 100% sure Cody was gonna win at "Mania but now it seems like Rock is gonna screw cody

Look, they caught lightning in a bottle twice now for Cody. It's basically a miracle to keep someone over for two years in a row. Especially with how online fans all are now. If they drag this on another year, there's like a 90% chance it falls flat.

Also, these guys are all old AF. You really want to bank on the 38-51 year olds all staying healthy for another year to make this work?
