What are they doing with Edge?

When he won the rumble, I thought the plan was obvious, one last well deserved run on top for nostalgia and to get attitude era eyes on the product, then transition into a high profile enhancement talent like HBK in his last few years.

Instead he loses the title shot which made the whole thing pointless and now he's squashing the judgement day and his wife is squashing Beth.

The booking with edge makes no sense to me.

He is not the same wrestler he was before 2011. Back then he was a top talent overall, but injuries have made him a limited performer.

Even then it's been a good outing for Edge, premier fueds with Orton and Rollins, also being part of world title main event at WM.

They can do a lot more with an overall package like Edge, feuds with Drew McIntyre Bray Wyatt and AJ Styles. How about Brock Lesnar vs. Edge at Summerslam 2023?

Yeah it seems his role now is just to put over talent. Just like Brock. We get the nostalgia promos and entrances, but thats about it

Edge is systematically destroying the Judgement Day until he gets to meet the final boss and fight Dominik in a Prison Yard match. Dom will bend Edge over in a live sex celebration, and make Beth watch. Beth will cry in the corner as she rubs vigorously excepting her role as a she-cuck. Edge will probably start acting more feminine to get WWE some of that ESG/DEI sponsorship.

I had really high hopes when he was mentioning the Brood when heading Judgement Day but that fell flat way too fast, guess he didn't want to scare his and Beth's kids on TV.

Edge is single-handedly making Finn and Damien relevant. He was also instrumental in making Dom relevant (Rhea already was), but Dom/Rhea have done a good job on their own of finding a storyline within the storyline to stand alone. So basically he's carrying two other roster members and making a somewhat interesting program. Kinda odd he keeps winning, he should be in a position to put over younger talent but I guess with Finn and Damien they're both older too so it doesn't matter much.

Balor and Priest's age makes me think Edge wrecking them is ultimately to give Dominik extreme heat when he somehow manages to defeat Edge using shenanigans, and I hope it involves Vicky Guerrero.
