When the hell is Cody gonna ditch the suit?

Doesn't he know he's not an AEW Exec anymore? A suit has nothing to do with an American Nightmare character and its just not relatable. Most people don't wear suits. He may be trying to "look professional", but it comes off as an elitist.

Lashley wearing a suit when he was in in the Hurt Business made sense. Miz wearing a suit because he's a Hollywood A- Lister makes sense. Cody wearing a suit, for no reason, makes no sense.

And it looked really stupid on RAW when he did the run in to save Sammy. Just not believable he could fight off Usos in tight dress pants and loafers. Wearing a suit shows he wasn't ready for a fight. We're not watching RAW for his endless promos.

He started wearing suits before he became an AEW executive. It’s a Ric Flair tribute.

Agreed, the suits seem odd and out-of-place for a guy wanting to be a face carrying around a god-awful neck tattoo and bleach blonde hedgehog hair ffs.

Not just Flair, in general wrestlers back in the day would wear suits more than they do now, when they kinda-sorta tried to pass it off more as a legitimate big sport. Mostly heels would do it but several other than Flair would wear suits outside the ring

Who wore a suit besides Flair and maybe the 4horsemen as part of their heel character? Hogan?, Macho?, HBK?, Undertaker?, Stone Cold?, Bret Hart?, Afa?, Sika?, ..back further..okay... Did Bruno?, Superstar Billy Graham?, Von Erichs?, Henning?

Granted I've never seen any of these guys travelling, but other than Flair and Mr. Fuji, who else wore a suit all the time?

Bruno did in the 70s but not sure if it was in any official capacity

Not sure about others

Gino Hernandez when he turned HBK on his tag team partner(forgot the name). Some AMA wrestlers. Usually I just think they are copying Flair. Lol.

But yeah, suit seems like a heel attire. Cuz it shows they got money unlike your blue collar babyface and their fans.

Hoping for a Cody heel run soon after he wins. Nightmare yet a good guy?

Less people in the circus atmosphere in the WWF did it sure, but in the 70s and 80s (and Cody seems to be trying to pin himself to that era) it was more commonplace. Reminder, the argument is that somehow Cody sticks out as being in the wrong for it, not that everyone did it.

Yes! How insecure to feel the need to defend himself on TV in response to a thread on a gay indian bodybuilding forum. He could have just answered here. HAHA

Agreed. Even his hair looked better Monday night for once it just looked bleached with dark roots and not like cat piss. That tattoo is terrible though.

I swear to god he read this thread when I saw his full promo from Raw where he took aim at internet fans commenting about him being in a suit.

Cody is in good shape too to be able to cut sick promos after wrestling LA Knight. He doesn’t get as winded as some superstars grabbing the mic immediately following a match .

My suspects who Cody is are yield or JUSA. The moment Cody jumped to AEW, they stopped making AEW threads. Hmmmmmm…

Lol read this thread before seeing the promo on YouTube and immediately though to myself what's Cody Rhodes' username.

I know Triple H has an account and Vince had people lurking here for sure.
