Well....There goes Sammy's popularity and push down the toilet

Everyone knew at some point Sammy would "come to his senses" and either turn on the Bloodline or be kicked out. Either way, the peak was hugging it out with KO on Smackdown. This was such a waste, because the "hug" or the reuinting of the friendship should have happened at WM, not on Friday night Smackdown that no one watches. Even the first RAW after WM would have been a better idea.

So what's next? Sammy and KO team up against the USO's and win the tag titles? This is very predictable and short sited. Who are they going to defend against that anyone cares about?

The whole point is Sammy leaving the Bloodline and reuniting with KO changes his persona. Unless there is still some twist to this whole plot and Sammy masterminds another turn or gets the Bloodline to split or turn against the Tribal Chief.

Now he's just riding the coat-tails of his popularity from his split with the Bloodline. Once that fades, its all over for Sammy.

Yup. They completely blew 3 years worth of story tension and knee-capped the most popular guy who put in all great the work all year. And this coming from someone who hated Sami Zayn.

He did. I wouldn't take it that far. Just mid-card status for a while

Yeah, I agree.

It was supposed to be homage to Kurt Angle a few years ago.

Brutally telegraphed and rushed. They seemed to stay the course for a while with the Bloodline ordeal, then fell flat.

How people cheer for that fat loser KO will never register with me

I've been saying all along, the whole thing is a plot by Sami to throw Bloodline opposition into a false sense of comfort - Sami will turn on KO and so Roman will have plenty of backup.

The 'test' Roman talked about giving Sami was never "hit KO with a chair" but rather to go through the charade of disobeying the tribal chief.

The Usos might not even be in on it, just to make it more convincing. Possibly the only ones who know about this are Sami+Roman or maybe Sami+Heyman

Presently with Cody thinking the Usos are countered, only thinks he has to deal with Solo, so he messes with his head and might have Goldust ambush him from the crowd if he tries to intervene.

Bloodline is first and foremost about sacrificing for Roman, so I could even see them dropping the tag titles to the Usos just so Cody lets his guard down, and then the moment when the dethroned Usos rush out to help Roman and KO+Sami run out to stop them... THAT is when Sami strikes and chair-shots KO.

If Cody knew this was coming he would've brought friends along to help, like maybe Styles+OC or even the Bucks or the Ascension (remember they were Stardust's flunkies) but because he thinks he can rely on Sami+KO he doesn't bother.

What were they supposed to do? Have Zayn beat Reigns for the title and become the face of the company?

He had a good go and in the end got squashed, which is exactly what should have happened.

This.

Sami looks like a homeless bum.

Edit: he’s had a great run though.

He should have stayed in the Bloodline and continued to milk the popularity hell out of it. Just take over RAW and Smackdown and the whole wrestling industry a la NWO, by getting new members, creating sub factions and continue with the goofy catch phrases. He didn't have to face Roman, but he could have continued to be his #1 henchman to keep the Bloodline on top. He could have ascended from Honarary Uce to Official Uce. The possibilities are endless.

The Sammy / KO bromance is getting corny and cringe.

This.

I mean yeah they could have that reunion at WM like Macho and Elizabeth, but through what match? A Jimmy vs. Sami match?

Them winning the tag titles(hope not) will have same effect anyway... their WM moment.

End of the day, Sami was never destined to beat Reigns. Reigns defeated Brock multiple times, Drew, Sheamus, Biggie, Edge, D-Bry, Cena, etc... only to be defeated by Sami? Even if not a clean win, it is still unbelievable.

I enjoyed Sami's work here, but yeah. He reached his ceiling in my opinion.

It would get stale without things happening - stuff has to ebb and flow. Just wait for it.
Why do you think this event is being called WrestleZaynia?
It won't just be about taking titles off the Usos...

We'll get back to that, but first he has to prove his loyalty by dealing w/ Cody.

Ultimately he will be. Just wait for it. I'm a wizard.

His true ascension will be in 8 days. This was the real test all along. Elimination Chamber was just to throw Cody off.

Even Kofi Kingston and Kevin Owens were very popular at some stage, but nothing sustainable happened.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as tag champs would be fun, feuding with Judgment Day or Mysterios perhaps?

But yeah down the line I would like to see Sami fueding with Seth Rollins or Cody Rhodes.
