SURVIVOR SERIES 2023 Thread

Honestly, I am a bit underwhelmed by the card. And they were teasing Aldis vs. Pearce(SD vs RAW) teams, but so far, none. Hopefully on SD, they will add a last minute SS elimination match.

* Men’s WarGames Match: Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins & Randy Orton vs. The Judgment Day & Drew McIntyre
Team Judgment Day Has WarGames Advantage

* Women’s WarGames Match: Damage CTRL vs. Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi & Becky Lynch
WarGames Advantage To Be Determined By Fan Vote

* WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Gunther vs. The Miz

* Women’s World Championship Match: Rhea Ripley vs. Zoey Stark

* Carlito vs. Santos Escobar

Anyway, will Randy betray Jey? Jey seemed scared when Cody announced Randy is in their team, especially since he also is one of the reason Randy is injured. Will Randy RKO Jey? Will he even turn on Cody? (I forgot how Legacy broke up).

Will Phillip Jack Brooks show up in Chicago as many hope/assume?

punk should come in to confront gunther after the match. no words. just cult of personality playing and punk pointing to the ic title or some chit.

punk coming out and saying he wants gunther specifically (bc he hears everyone calling him the best in the world) would work wonders for getting that boring fuk to the main event. they are gonna need him at that level for cody's run not to fail miserably.

I'm looking forward to the Women's War Games match and Gunther vs Miz.

I was looking forward to Carlito vs Santos, but they took Carlito out and replaced him with flippy masked guy number 4.

Rhea vs Zoey, garbage. Rhea's run as champ has been pathetic and Zoey sucks and is not going to happen.

I don't care about the Men's War Games match because Judgement Day is so played out. Seth is supposedly the Raw champ and feels like the least important guy in the match.

Very underwhelming card. Usually when the card is not that good, the matches are decent to make up for it.


I'm not a huge fan of the War Games stipulation. It's a weak stipulation since it's basically just a tornado tag match and the unprotected person can take the pin to end it. Also the teams are usually established heel faction vs thrown together team of faces. It does not feel like it's the feud finisher its made out to be. Heck In a Cell Works because it's one on one. Elimination chamber works because everyone has to take a pin and it's last man standing. Does pinning Shotzi really feel like it ends the Bianca vs Damage CTRL feud? Does Sid taking out jobber Flyin' Brian feel like the Horseman finally beat Sting forever? That's why the War Games stipulation kinda sucks.
At best War Games has a few cool spots like Io Shirai jumping from the cage with a trash can on her head.

So, I have no cable and won't do it again just to get wrestling (**** you AEW), but...

... if someone just had the Peacock, do you get basically the shows and PPVs? Are the shows the actual shows or abridged versions?

I hear WWE is very boring these days but I might want to check it out if indeed CM Punk shows back up.

I use Premium Plus monthly and get the full shows live. They may abridge them after. I rarely rewatch live shows in full i May fast forward through the good parts.

I think lesser subscription plans only let you watch them with ads.
