He's not broken down yet, I think he's mid30s, but AEW will indulge his worst instincts, he can't talk and they'll use him like garbage like they do any star. Wasn't Edge part of some meaningless 8 man with no promotion, filled with guys not being pushed or jobbers and then the guy who wins is ****ing some nobody and not even Edge? They've already made him seem unimportant and not special. Only CM Punk managed to keep any of his aura, probably bc he booked his own chit.

I don’t think he has any terrible instincts. If anything I think he kind of reigns in the goofy indie guys a little bit.

If he goes to WWE I would worry he’s there to get a bag and slow it down considerably to get a bag which would disappoint some of the dream match people. He’ll slow it down anyway because that’s the WWE dumbed down style. But I mean not really worrying about stealing the show anymore.

I think AEW is probably the most likely choice though because he’s already worked for them and Tony Khan is a NJPW market, so would offer him the money.

And I agree Tony Khan has shown no ability to consistently and effectively book talent to get over. It’s constantly one step forward two steps back. I fully expect to not be on tv for a month after his showing against Samoa Joe.

Although in his defense regarding Edge, Edge has said in interviews that he wants to work with younger talent to teach them how to work and give them the rub. So his booking might be more of his doing.

Maybe but the outlet that reported it is small potatoes and begged Sean Ross Sapp not to report on any stories involving Japanese wrestlers until a week after they posted them.

Also, him going to NXT and joining Chase U would be WWE creative run by Vince levels of lame.
