I'm definitely a fan and i was going to post about plymouth. great choice. personally I'd try and get something like the old wheels vs chrome. or even steel 'dog dish' style wheels. something small so you can get some fatter tires.

Mirin hard, brah. Repped.

I love old Mopars, but I have a super soft spot for 2nd Gen Camaros. I'm currently building a 79 Camaro into a drag and drive car.

I never got into cars. Never was into hot wheels or match box.

Was too nerdy I guess.

Just never appealed to me.

it's really just the wheels. otherwise the chrome pieces on the side are accurate to the time period

as i got older i got to be less of a wheel guy. big tires are where it's at with these things

Love em.

I had one for a bit. 1972 Skylark (poor mans Chevelle)......got a great deal, was in good shape, had it for about a year, redid the interior, upgraded the suspension (all corners....springs, bushings, ball joints, shocks, sway bars...made it handle great) then I realized it was going to cost me another 12-15k to get it where I wanted (engine, transmission, rear end, etc) and was going to take time that I didn't have so I sold it and bought something that was already built, modded and ready to hit the track.

It had the Big Block 455 (which sounded so good but just felt like a turd due to the 3 speed TH350 & 2.xx something rear end. I was constantly going back and forth in my head about pulling it and rebuilding it to handle a single turbo and be in the 600-700 hp range or just dropping a 6.0 LS & turbo in it.

I faurkin loved just cruising in that thing though. Got so many looks, thumbs up and just general interest and love. It was an experience every time....the sound, the smell, the "it might die and I might not make it home" lol......I do miss it.

Nice, man. I like a lot of stuff from back in the day. I like the muscle cars, the personal luxury cars, and luxobarges.

looks good. I love the body style but prefer the 70 grille/head light look.

I'm a Ford guy now and come from a Ford family, back when I was about to turn 16 in the late 90's the local bank had a silent auction for a 70 Barracuda that was repo'ed. It was a decent driver car, kind of an ugly green color, with a 318 and auto. My dad put in a bid on it for it to be my first car but we didn't get it. Its interesting to think if i had gotten that car I'd probably be a Mopar guy rather than a guy with a bunch of Fords in the garage.

That’s awesome OP , pretty much the pinnacle of car collections . I always wanted a Cuda or Challenger back in the day . I ended up being a TranAm guy , but srs it’s no Cuda obviously, and only had 180 hp .
I sold it as I have no room , but really miss cruising around with the T-roofs off .

To tell you truth I’m more of a truck guy . Here’s my 84 , same story though , sold and should have kept .
6” lift , 35” mud ta’s

I had this 81 Z28 back in 84 . Miss those days .
As you can gather I’m a Chevy , GM fan .

This had a 4 speed standard ,as did the truck . Much funner to drive

Loved the 69-70 Mustang fast back , my favourite body style . I’d be ok with a 428 SCJ though . My stepbrother had a 71 Mach1 with a 351 Boss . The 351 Boss only came with a 4 speed , was an amazing car.
I had just bought my TransAm , and at work I just run across this guy who just rebuilt and was selling a 70 fastback mustang . I was disappoint.
If I would have bought it , I would have thrown in a 428 SCJ and a 4 speed standard

We actually killed a cougar with a built 351 clevland in it , and we had no first gear .
Here’s a pic of what it looked like . Rare car that not many have heard of .

Only true classic I got is a series 3 E-type roadster. It looks incredible, but it's definitely high maintenance and I would never consider it anything besides a weekend car.

Man, I'm rewatching Rust Valley Restorers on Netflix - Mike is a fukin clown when it comes to his business sense but he's put out some beautiful machines reasonably cheap - Super Bees, a Roadrunner, a Cuda, a Parisienne - then Avery sells a 70 or 71 Stingray for like $7500

In Australia, you're not paying less than $60k for a decent condition anything like that
