Figured we might touch low $40s again, maybe high $30s, but $26... fukking LMAO unreal. If they don't have a huge divvy at start of 2023 this will take me a couple years to recover just based on divvy payments. SABS is dead. No one will take them over because they would have to take over their cattle and stuff which is messy and generally just too much. It’s not something they can shift manufacturing elsewhere or just intellectual property to get. I sold my high CB stuff and rebought lower to book the losses against my oil gains and some other random options stuff I managed to buy/sell properly.

Lol. No. Not unbelievable. I told you guys it could happen. Unusual dividend payout is not sustainable. Shippers have crashed in the past.

you don't think they have any surprises up their sleeve though? I seem to remember reading that they have enough funding to last another 18 months or so, maybe something hits by then?

True, I remember you mentioning this. However they haven't stopped paying dividends just yet, the last one was $4.75 a month back, and I believe in their most recent earnings presentation they mentioned that they are increasing their dividend to 30% per quarter (previously 20%).. share price can plummet but if their dividends are still decent I'm ok with that. Even $3 per quarter is find with me tbh.
Lol oh yeah same here. I had like $10k gains this year so I’ve fully offset all of that. Might still be able to cover some more of my losses before end of year. I’d be hyped if they have something up their sleeve, but not hopeful at all. Even with fastest emergency approvals EVER with 100% government funding for every step of the way they couldn’t manage to their their antibodies through phase 3 within 1.5 years. Only certain thing is getting a final payout on their DOD contract. At this rate it’ll be equal to their market cap LOL

They didn’t set their trial up properly with more than 1 endpoint. They phucked it up genuinely on every level. I thought it was just a no brainer that it would get emergency authorization because people were frantic about getting treatments out there and it was seemingly clear polyclonal was better than monoclonal. To me it doesn’t seem possible these missteps were accidental it really seems like there was a deliberate reason to intentionally avoid getting the product to market either from an insider or someone in the government. Perhaps we will learn more if their data ever gets published from their phase 2/3 trial.

Who knows

I feel bad for the people who worked on the platform though, those researchers/scientists are genuinely trying to help (obv profit is a motivator as well) and are getting shut down due to greed and/or politics
Mmmmmhmmmm. Yup. Paxlovid got approved even though it’s kinda BS. But the big pharma corps have the money and connections to make sure their trials are executed flawlessly. I sadly learned it isn’t about having the best product. It’s about gaining access to markets first. You’d never know there is a second treatment given authorization either. All anyone knows is paxlovid.

It’s called SeptemBEAR for a reason boyos. Easiest and best month for me ever. Just loaded up in August and done nothing for a month. Account up 50%.

I also have bachelor, master and phD in cell bio, microbiology, virology, and immunology and work in biotech. I would just stay away from that chit, it’s a complete gamble. The only thing I could do is tell you what are garbage treatments that won’t work and the play would be to bet on long term puts. Still times when the market would overreact to news and pump it anyway. Also times where garbage companies with trash products can become big through collusion and greed like MRNA. I would have bought puts on them

So do things go back down to pre-covid crash levels (Dec '19/Jan '20) and bounce/build back from there or are we going deeper?

I went 100% cash about 2 months ago and am just drooling, sitting here waiting to buy back in (long term type).....thinking of very slowly buying back over the next few weeks/months because some of these prices look ridiculous and I'm getting FOMO.

Refilling the SPR will likely act as a backstop for crude in a worst case scenario, the Biden administration has been trying to use that to incentivize US production by assuring companies they won't let the price crash

Otherwise if prices drop hard, we're going to be headed into an even worse supply situation going forward as capital spending tightens again

Side note that much of the oil being released from the SPR is heavy sour crude, which competes directly with Canadian crude and directly where we ship it

SPR was put in place 70's for this exact reason to prevent other countries to use commodity as strategic advantage.

I haven't found study anywhere to show how much per gallon / liter is SPR dropping fuel cost at the pump.

If the market tanks or gets close to going to hell like its doing atm

You will get that amazing dip on oil stocks again.

Tfw preparing for tax season

Would definitely be looking at DCAing or something even just with the knowledge these companies are sitting on piles of cash and have few places to put it besides buybacks and dividends. Everything will dump, profitable companies with low capital requirements and tons of cash flow should outperform.

DXY should just keep going.

Maybe reach 130-140 at this rate.

Since Fed said they will raising rates.

There is long road between 8ish percent inflation to feds 2 percent goal.
