I really don't know why AMD is getting hurt like this.

Worse off than NVDA and Intel.

Also
TSLA

Strangle:
$800cc/$800csp x2
$6.5 / $16.99
Still 1.5 days to go, but I am considering taking on assignment, instead of rolling (I fuggin hate rolling).

For reference at my entry points for each position, for 2/26 CC's
PLTR @ $29, IV = 126 (2.2% ROI)
TSLA @ $800, IV = 54 (2.6% ROI)

Any thoughts?

No clue either, when they slipped below 90 yesterday I thought they'd start to bounce back. Everything they make sells out immediately and gets great reviews, plus demand for their stuff has only continued to rise with the pandemic

PLTR is probably good long term. So maybe not bad taking assignment on it. I am thinking PLTR anywhere from $22-24 might be great 2-3 year hold.

TSLA maybe wait bit? Dips get bought yesterday it was almost green after going to $760.

Isn't your TSLA assignment going to be expensive as phuck.

One thing is for certain TSLA drags all the EV down with it.

Maybe a healthy sized position in PLTR wouldn't be bad, just would suck to see a $29 cb. But then I can just wheel at or above $30 with weeklies and adjust accordingly...

TSLA, yeah it will be very expensive lol ($160k), but I am cash heavy atm. Like you mentioned, the dips get bought up quickly, and a lot can happen in 24 hours, so I guess I will try to forget about it until tomorrow... ugh.

Bullish or bearish move here hmm.

If demand is so high why is Tesla cutting prices.

In Japan they cut Model 3 price $8K

They can handle losses/low profitability waaaaaaaaay better than anyone else in the game. Revenue growth is all that matters for them. Why try and squeeze profits from consumers when they can raise cash from investors?

das it. Curious to see what my $800c/$800p strangle will look like.

I poosied out big time and rolled my PLTR csp's to next week, and actually set up another strangle. Should've just been assigned, but at the same time, if this play works out, it will be around a $5k play, or I will have a $26 cost basis. Poorly played on my part. I even told myself that I wasn't going to touch PLTR until after the lock up chit... Broke my own rule. Legit bummed on myself.

Anyways, expiring tomorrow:

symbol quantity
RKT csp x25
LULU csp x1
UWMC cc x100
ARKF csp x2
ARKG csp x1
ARKQ csp x1
ARKW csp x1
TSLA cc x2
TSLA csp x2

Max profits: $14.6k. Looks like the only thing I will have to worry about is TSLA which is $4.6k of all of that. Fingies crossed!

also
Spoiler!

WTF just spoke to some ******* at Fidelity and I got denied for portfolio margin. He didn't like how I answered my "What is your trading strategy?" question. I basically said that varies based on market conditions. He said I am mostly selling naked puts right now and am already on a margin call of $12,000. My acct is $227k and I sent proof of another $50,000 of liquid cash in my bank acct.

**** im calling TD Ameritrade

Heads up with TDA it will be a process. Shouldn’t be hard to get qualified for moderate options trading level but PM requires an actual test which covers a lot of Greeks and synthetic options etc. and you only get 2 tries AND they don’t tell you what you got wrong AND they give you a different test each time...

Yeah you do. You invest heavily in low risk equity IPOs and utilize options to hedge your risk and enter new positions at a discount to current market conditions. You utilize level 2 trading data in addition to option flow to make your trading decisions toohit em with all the jargon lmao

Closed everything out today instead of letting them expire. ( I hate the uncertainty of after hours, even though the only potential assignments would've been RKT, LULU, and TSLA. Oh, I am letting UWMC expire, because there's $250 of guaranteed funds there.

Total realized profit: $9,461.20, with another $3k once UWMC cc clears, so almost $12.5k.
I set all of these up, with the exception of LULU and RKT (combined $4747 profit) up within the past 10 days.

Picked up 20 NIO March 5th $65 strike. filled $1.8

NIO got crushed this week. It was $62 few times.

But damn Tesla dragging all EV with it.

That being said I suspect NIO will run up before earnings March 1st.

Planning selling before earnings.

Nothing is ever worth holding through earnings.

Roku went flat as soon earnings hit.

Speaking of earnings, RKT is coming up next week I believe. Q4 should yield another monstrous performance, but it's always tanked. That said, there is usually a fat run up. Might be a good idea to get some 2/26 $24 calls...

I totally forgot about RKT.

Forever at $20 lmao.

Just checked out option flow 2/26 very cheap. Implied move is only +/- 6 percent hmm.

Maybe bit of run next week. Might throw at weekly Monday.

According to teamRKT they thought buffett / berkshire would announce in their last 13F holdings RKT lol

I don't have exact time stamp on my broker but it seems to have filled about hour ago.

Range was $1.80-1.85. Made mistake not all were at $1.8.

If Tesla continues this trend it could drag NIO with it. So not sure how this will work out
