If it's still this low end of week, I might load up. What are you eying?
Bought 1 AMD call Jan '23 77.5. Looking back I probably would've went 80 but whatever.
Bought 5 CRM May 21 2021 232.5 Calls
Bought more XLF 35.5 puts

Still new to options so I'm learning as I go. More mistakes I make the better cause I learn faster lol.

I was late to the party on OCGN and although it's not too late to buy calls, I don't feel like touching it at this price. I'm gonna wait for a pullback as I believe there's still lots of value (EUA soon? and restorative vision tech moving through the pipeline). I'm interested to see what price it ends at EoY.

Is anyone in AMC? I’ve been buying in $200 dollar amounts for a while now and my position is getting pretty high up there for my portfolio.

Anyone have any predictions if it will actually squeeze or not?

Inb4haters. I’m only in what I’m okay with losing. It’s mostly all Gme gains I made anyway.

Like I mentioned before why aren't we all just buying puts.

I'm gonna start buying puts instead of selling calls. Better returns and safety

Since I am still in the process of liquidating positions.
I used to have an AVI of my traps and neck. I changed it a while back and tried editing my user title but this website is glitched and it will not let me change it anymore.

Buy stock at $58.23
Sell 6/18 $62.5c @ $.15

In premium that's a .25% ROI, so in ~2 months you will have beat your .5%, plus a dividend. Or if it hits, that's an 8% ROI should you let them get called away (doubtful at that strike tbh).

.25%/month is a fukkin grind but if consistent that will be a 3% annual return PLUS your dividend. Seems as "safe" as it gets, but again it's all about your style/strategy/goal.
Good stuff. Thanks for the response, i'll dig into this. Thank you.

Your post is confusing...
There is zero risk/safety concerns with selling calls, just capped profit.
Not sure how buying puts is "Safe" aside from knowing what your max loss would be.
If you're in the process of liquidating, why not sell super aggressive calls?
And why would you buy puts as "safety" if you're liquidating?

go find new NVDA graphics card in stock/ AMD cpu etc

demand is off the charts and they can't deliver. (intel ceo said it will take few years to resolve this)

AMZN is down because many wanted stock split. its very hard to trade options on amazon when they are expensive.

plus if fed printing is on way out you want to be invested in things that actually have profit now and cash instead of what they will do in future.

because it will expire worthless 95% of the time.

its impossible to time the market.

do what chino said above.

my strategy is to do nothing if we have pullback just buy stock on dip.

you can't lose if you're long

AMZN will do a stock split at some point and it will go to the moon so this just gives more buying opportunity IMO.. PE ratio of 64 is not high for Amazon

Fuk it. Bought some OCGN shares instead of calls to be on the safe side since I don't mind going long. I'm expecting EUA and the PR it's gonna get this week is crazy.

I refuse to sell my ARKG at a loss. Guess I’ll just hold until I die.

You can only sell monthly CC and the premium is complete chit. Cathy is bending me over and going in raw.

If things look like this everyday then it may be a month to sit out unless some extremely obvious play pops up. Low volume crabbing market doesn’t have much opportunities

None of that is actually on margin, it just defaults to that when I buy. I'm still sitting on about 3k cash.

Pick 4-5 stonks you know and can do solid hw on and sell the rest. Consolidate. You might as well have an index fund because theres no way you can keep track of 30 stonks.
