Also, keep in mind the last BCH upgrade allows it to adjust mining difficulty every block, making it profitable to mine as long as the price is kept/propped up:https://fork.lol/

What do you suggest we do? Also Tether is having huge problems right now.

Where are you guys getting your fork news. I have checked /btc, / bitcoin, every reddit I'm in, all of the twitter accounts I'm following, nobody mentioned Segwit2X except for coinbase. Am I missing something ?

Got my refund from Gold Reward. Looking at their twitter it seems tons of people never received their coins even though they got confirmation emails, etc. I honestly think half those coins were a fake out and never meant to get to their destination(the ICO investors), but only to build hype so GR can sell the tokens for 2x or 3x on an exchange instead. When I went on the block information on etherscan it shows many transactions to etherdelta, and within 24 hours GRX was listed there. Seems like they wanted to just psyche people out so they'd be willing to pay double right after ICO since they couldn't get coins. Sketchy as fuk IMO.

Power Ledger just got a Government Grant:

Well proof I guess of the most promising project out there. These guys are killing it with developments, I saw their 2016 achievements and they already had a ton of stuff done before their ICO launch in Sep.

Is putting 5% of your weekly income into Bitcoin a smart investment strategy? I have 1.2 ETH and a small amount of Bitcoin. I would love to hear yall's opinions on this.

Set a buy order low for WTC because there is money to be made in the next 2-3 months.

I'm more concerned about S2X

I'm expecting a dump, thinking about moving some BTC over to eth.

Are we supposed to be receiving a new coin or what? I'm not in my normal time zone and no guarantee I'll be on wifi around the time of the fork.

Might just move some BTC to eth early to avoid being cucked.

With small amounts it's always better to buy the dips. I dont how how much you earn per week, but you could get wrecked with fees putting in 5% at a time.

If i was you, i would save the 5% every week and do 1 buy transaction at the end of the month
I just came here on the internet to lie

When's this "fork" supposed to hit? ETH seems to have stabilized at ~330 so moving might be the good idea but then again, when emperor bitcoin starts to significantly move, nobody is safe

on snap, we new thread now! my title was better tho

also has anyone noticed that usd tether is over half a billion dollars now? something fishy there, cause there is no way they have more than a tenth of that much cash on hand if people rush for the exits because of dat dere fractional reserve system.

I guess this is the problem with a limited deflationary digital currency, every time you want more btc just fork the chain and print more. so much for that digital gold theory.

I was going to post this in the old thread yesterday, but ive been looking at the chart and im concerned that this run up to 8k has zero support above the 5k level still. that messy double bottom on the hourly chart that didnt properly fill the gap back at ~4950 even for a minute before rocketing back higher is srsly concerning. what are your price targets for the drop goat?

I guess it depends how much BTC you have.

If I had a good amount of BTC I'd try to maximize the B2X match, but I'm playing with a smaller sum so the credited amount really doesn't do much.

I'd prefer for my wallets value to be in a safe position with regards to a BTC dump after the fork, however BTC is my dominant coin in my wallet, with ETH after. I don't trust alts right now to diversify that much and spread out more BTC.

In the short term I will probably be cucked, but I'd expect BTC to recover long term and I will be fine.

If I do get credited, I will try and sell as soon as I can as long as the value hasn't gone to **** by the time I get back.

thats a good way to put it.

I also don't have many but I want to move to ETH as I believe it has more room for gains in the short term. Will have to think about this in the next hour

Basically not possible anymore. Because of the EDA adjustment. BCH adjusts it's algorithm too quickly based on BTCs hashing power. Well they csn do it but they have a very short period before BCH difficulty adjusts downwards. Again making it equally profitable to mine both chains

I agree I think bch will try to dethrone btc once again. they won't stand by when this is their biggest chance to gain marketcap before institutional money is getting in. if they don't try it now btc is going to leave the orbit forever

The gambler in me says to move it all to BCC right after the fork.

The cuck in me says move it to USD and wait for the dust to settle.
