Yeah not trying to chase old waves I was just curious if the bank backed crypto was really a farce or not.

Lol at the nocoincels coping so hard.

Warren Buffet is like 1,000 years old and doesn't understand crypto.

Also, the media grossly exaggerated the South Korea thing. They were only busting unregulated exchanges. The big ones are totally fine.

Lol just lol.

If you're not invested in ICO's, you're missing out on the sleeping giants.

BRB 300$ in RegalCoin in ICO phase and made 12K months later selling when it hit the exchange.

Been looking for the next big hitter since and have had no luck. Pretty confident in a few I'm invested in right now though.

Buffet is a dinosaur. He was against Amazon, Apple, Microsoft too. He has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to tech. Yet keeps offering his chitty opinions.

OP it's just more FUD, nothing else. This is the same story over and over we have been experienced with China. Nothing but FUD to drive down prices temporarily to pick up cheap btc. I've been around btc since 2012.

I only know one person IRL that tried to cash out back when btc was 5k, he only got half of his money so far.

Most of these Cryptos investors just hodl forever or continuously swap for other Cryptos.

This is why I only invested a small amount in the shiz

For me 700% back down to 500% but I've only been in this for 6 months and that was with very conservative trading.

2018 is gonna be exciting. Went all in on more violate alts. It's gonna be -1000% or +1000% easy. Now we wait and see.

This is a great time. Literally more than doubled a $10k investment within 2 months and pulled the initial $10k out. Riding house money to the fuarkin moon.

If it goes to zero, for me personally, it will be as if nothing happened.

Edit: also the 2 best performers in my retirement account are due to the crypto mania (nvidia & square)

Exactly, OP is mad people who started investing 2 months ago already made returns that surpass his 10 years in the stock market ayyyylmao.

Warren buffet has stated repeatedly that he has regretted many decisions in the tech markets because he did not UNDERSTAND the technology.

Heres when he admitted his mistake to amazon.

"I was too dumb to realize. I did not think [Bezos] could succeed on the scale he has," Buffett said, adding that he "really underestimated the brilliance of the execution." The investor humbly admitted that he and partner Charlie Munger "miss a lot of things, and we'll keep doing it."

It's insane. Read the quote from the Dogecoin founder when asked about doge reaching 1 or 2B market cap.
I have a lot of faith in the Dogecoin Core development team to keep the software stable and secure, but I think it says a lot about the state of the cryptocurrency space in general that a currency with a dog on it which hasn't released a software update in over 2 years has a $1B+ market cap.
That said i threw some play money in there as i think there is still some money to be made, if you must do the same, please stay safe and invest the same amount as you would have on a frivolous purchase, no more.

this is all fine and good but you know this is a huge bubble that will pop someday and turn into a long bear market right? Its uncannily similar to the dot com bubble.

I mean look what's going on with the chit coins in cryptopia for example. Lindacoin up 8000% on the month?

Eventually this madness will end, one the financial gains dwindle people will leave the space at the same speed they piled in.

Did you ever see the chart where it showed how long it took for the best tech companies to regain their 2000/2001 values? I think the earliest one was 6 years? We got guys leveraged to chit in the crypto crew, you think they can hold for 6 years or more?

The nasdaq itself took 17 years to recover.

2. No real regulated price, each of those scammer "exchange" set their own price, and rip you off with commission rates which would make more sense to borrow money from the mafia.
3. Even if you had 1000000 bitcoins its not like you can cash it out. You might be lucky to cash a couple, but once a big holder will attempt to cash out some big money the whole market will collapse, and by the time you'll try to cash out you'll be left with virtual dust in your E-wallet.
4. Even if all of the above was wrong (and it isn't), there is no real secure solution for storing bitcoins, even those hardware wallets aren't that safe for many reasons.
5. Quantum computers willdecimatethe entire cryptocurrency market as we know it. And these bad arses arecoming sooner than you might be thinking.

For now the whole Bitcoin thing is one giant pyramid scam. I am pretty sure though, that in the future crypto currency will play a big role as a legit currency, but many issues will have to be solved before that happens.
i bought cyrpto certificate also on the stock market. Easier to do. So you dont have to buy the real coins if you are scared

How about making a meme for me for buying lots of Ethereum and Bitcoin when they 20-30x lower in value? Or making $50k in a month from crypto profits? They'd be really fun to see
