riddle me this..... probability of yearnfinance price passing BTC. Would that even be possible? Or are they just painting themselves into a corner. Admittedly I don't know jack about YF besides is seems like the biggest scam since YAM. Goes from non-existent to 10k in a month???

Not sure, but interestingly enough if you look at gold ETFs (GLD, GLDM, BAR, IAU, etc) they're down 4ish percent as well. I'm not worried.

Why would YFI be a scam, its nothing like YAM.

You get YAM from staking Compound, LINK, YFI, Synthetix etc. It also has a rebase mechanic like Ampleforth to maintain a peg at $1 by contracting and expanding the supply. Its a worthless token.

YFI is a fully decentralized, no pre-mine, no-ICO yield aggregator. Say I want to lend 1000 Compound tokens, I lend it through yearn and it automatically and trustlessly finds the best rates by searching and balancing between existing pools on other protocols like Aave and Compound. It also auto adjusts to get you the best rates. Its extremely novel and already has $600m TVL - there are probably only 5-6 other cryptocurrency projects that can claim this sort of value. The YFI token allows you to earn interest from the fees incurred by others lending through the protocol and gives governance rights.

It also has a supply of 30,000, bitcoin has a supply of 21,000,000. Price doesn't mean ****.

Andre says that because he is on record saying he doesnt like dealing with the fallout associated with token price fluctuations - he doesn't want the stress. The token at that time also wasn't entitled to fees on yield. That doesn't mean the token is worthless currently if it is earning interest (it will when the treasury is capped). If the CEO of apple comes out and says the positive income stream company is worth 0, does it make it 0?

Chitcoins don´t interest me even if they moon. I have made thousands of dollars on tezos, and I made thousands of dollars on shorting LINK. Those defi coins are mostly hype, and not world changing projects. At least I´m not unethically supporting chitcoins like the rest of this forum...Encouraging scams in exchange for some money, disgusting behavior imo. But maybe I just can´t relate, cuz I grew up with money.

Do you feel good about yourself for supporting chitcoins, or you just don´t care? The world is going to chit because humans are greedy bastards that support short term schemes over actual value bringing long term change. I will never stop calling out greedy people.

Tezos is the actual scam, 99% of the network usage comes from people 'baking' on coinbase trying to get more of the token lmao - this is no better than YAM. Infact YAM is probably better given it doesn't have a premine.

You only think the world is going **** because it has coincided with your networth dropping like a rock in a bullmarket because you bought Tezos (-10%) + liquidation of your collateral shorting Link at $9.70 (10 days later it was $20).
