Thankfully I also bought BTC yesterday to offset potential alt losses, so my portfolio is actually breaking even. So I did kinda protect myself.

I did the same, i was about even with my profit/loss being close to 1:1 with BTC climbing to 4900, but once i saw it keep pass 5k and not dump i just decided to take the loss on the alts and go for pure BTC gain.

This is where I wish I had some sort of alert system on my phone. Is there anything I can setup to where if 5-10 alts all go red at the same time my phone's alarm goes off? lol

Ye, I should've just put a buy order for Wtc at 0.0012 which was clear support.

I think alts could recover super quick btw once the BTC resistance is hit. A lot of traders are doing exactly the same thing.

I mean we're still 13 days away from the general consensus date of the fork..

Given that, it would seem this is just the beginning of both alt dump and btc rise.

WTC got knocked down 40 cents, but now is back up a little higher in it's fiat value (within the last hour anyways), but still low in BTC value. Though I'm still hopeful of a decent recovery.

BTC activating afterburners and going supersonic, this makes me rock hard. Solid all alts crew. Meanwhile WTC nearing $6, almost firesale status, I'm likely gonna drop out of BTC just before the fork and get into alts at their cheapest

Think I'm just going to sit all in BTC for awhile and see what tomorrow brings. I might miss some sweet gains on alts, but if BTC decides to climb more when US wakes up, then alts aren't going anywhere.

I've always liked the BAT project, but I got sick of the weak gains and tying up buying opportunities. I'm sure many have sold since this months update was the last pump for awhile we were waiting for.

I ****ing hate the project with a burning passion. Sunk a fair bit of money into it. Not fussed about the loss, annoyed as phuck that the money is tied up there when it could be used elsewhere.

I.e. Opportunity cost is way too high
