Why are Canadian supermarkets fine and supply chains as normal if all the truckers are protesting in Ottawa? I don't see anything on the news about any shortages different from USA or Australia?

Huh? Nowhere close to all the truckers are protesting and I was in Walmart yesterday and the entire pharmacy was picked clean. Like maybe 20% stocked compared to normal. I didn't go in the rest of the store but the pharmacy was devastated.

And yes we have meat on the shelves here at 200% the normal price. It's sitting on the shelf because no one can afford $40 for two steaks.

Even before these protests we didn't have frosted flakes cereal in shelves for weeks and no Captain Crunch either. Hell, Costco doesn't even have Halal chicken. For a few weeks, before these protests a lot of shelves were empty and or prices had risen to discourage people from hoarding.

If these truckers continue protesting, I'm sure we will see more shortages. Obviously it won't have as huge of an effect but we will still see delays and shortages. But with or without these protests we would still be seeing shortage because the governments of the world bankrupted themselves to fight a flu virus.

It will be real funny when the next real deadly pandemic hits and the governments of the world don't have a single dime to fight it because they overreacted to a flu virus and didn't bother introducing real reforms to healthcare because it's baffling to me how the medical establishment can't handle an influx of more than 100 patients. Once again they're scapegoating the unvaxxed when the real problem is a chitty public funded healthcare system when the real solution was to privatize hospitals and to deregulate the industry. In the USA, no one did anything or cared that hundreds of citizens were jailed indefinitely in dungeon conditions just for being present at a location. In Canada no one will do anything after all the trucks are towed, bank accounts frozen and elderly women are trampled by horses and thrown in jail.
