forget when...early highschool maybe. didn't get first cell phone which was a nextel until like senior yr or junior year of HS.

no texting....at all. just two way radio's pranking eachother in the middle of classes by seeing who the moron was that forgot to silence their two-way

in the mid 90s i thought my neighbor who was 4 years older was so cool because he had pager...still remember him holding it pushing the button..."hold on i gotta beep"...and it clipped on his waist! also had a huge tower stereo and detachable faceplate for the "system" in his 89 nissan sentra. parents kinda spoiled him a bit because he also took the master bedroom...where he had a futon couch for chicks, feather painted walls and a big pot leaf poster on the wall...smelled like cool water in there
