Based. Whenever I’m in NYC it makes me realize how shitty most American cities truly are. Most are just huge suburbs with a couple tall buildings downtown. Mamdani might fuck things up but right now it’s still GOATed.

Now show what the streets look like.

The problem with most big cities is they are only nice to look at from a distance.

That’s how my city is it’s got more people than early 1900s NYC but 1/100th of the buildings. Just fookin a few big ass buildings in like 5 blocks and then sprawl that continues for 3 counties in all directions

The most expensive places to live in NY city are the ones farthest from the streets, with views so high that you only see the rot if you look way down.

Do you get up at 5 AM naturally or are you awakened by the Islamic Call to Prayer on the loud speaker?

There is no way people aren't going to look at this in the future and not identify it as a sign of society being on the decline.

Have to wonder what the point of living somewhere is when it's just a dystopian hellscape any time you leave your home.

Any city ,anywhere has negatives

Just like every person

Could easily post scumbag pics from Syria, Pakistan, London, sf,LA,london ,hong kong ,tokyo ..etc etc

Ask anybody, anywhere

The greatest city on earth ??

NY will always be in the top 3 with Hong Kong, maybe London

Always

people who've never been to New York City have no idea just how shitty MOST American cities are. Most people in America have actually never experienced a real city. Just lol @ most cuck miscers thinking their crappy little towns can even be considered a city. Imagining a bunch of strip malls and Walmarts being the premier attraction of your "city". New York City is one of the best places in the country for a young person to live and make memories.

You can't even begin to compare.

NY has been cleaned up quite a bit unfortunately

Doing drugs and fkn with hookers on the lower east side in the 80s is some of the best fun I've had in my entire life

New York is obviously the GOAT city in the world. Chicago is #2 in the US.

Still though, I might live in NYC for like 2 years, but longer than that has little appeal. As a guy who isn't interested in marrying the type of girl who lives in NYC, I'd just end up being some single 50 year old dude still living there and it's the type of city that keeps everybody in a state of arrested development.

You sound like someone who has never left Chicago or NY.

It's a proper city, but NYC doesn't have the draw that it used to. All the pop culture references are going back decades now.
