May be buying these tables tomorrow , chance of a lifetime srs

It’s unfortunate but this store in the mall is closing and they’re selling everything dirt cheap . I wish I was on top of this sooner as they only one of the medium size tables left .
Going first thing in the morning to see what’s still available.
The one I may get is the medium sized one . Guess I’ll use it to place plants by the window . These are heavy duty stainless steel, and don’t come apart .
The large one was not paid for yet and still may be available tomorrow. If it’s still there first thing in the morning I’m buying it and storing it on my deck for now .
There’s no way to get it on the house through a door , and they’re too perfect to cut apart . It dawned on me when I got home that I could remove a window and get it in that way though .

Sts it would make for an awesome work station for electronics and stuff , and they’re $20 bucks each . Probably cost a few thousand dollars back in the day to purchase . Like this is one of those once in a life time deals and I’m praying the people don’t come in tomorrow to claim the large one as I want them both

They'd be great for plants. We're about to repot a bunch of herb and chilli plants, and they'd keep them out of reach of my fucking dog who loves to eat them

I kept looking at them and thinking I don’t have a purpose for them . As soon as a I got home I’m like wtf , the medium one would be perfect for plants if it’s not to deep .
The big one would be fantastic for my shop in the garage , but srs I’ve barely got any fking room as it is .

The big one appears to be the right height for a desk , and would make a great work station as I’m going to be soldering and programming micro controllers soon .
Tons of room for a computer and monitor plus circuit boards etc .
The only thing is getting it onto the house . It’s an old house and you’d need French doors just get it into the living room , and I need it in the spare bedroom .
My only solution is to take a window out , and unfortunately that involves removing the entire window frame and all which is huge , not mention I’ll have to repair the blocks with grout when it warms up . The large one may be more hassle than its worth , but I’d sure like to use it

This is where I’d like the smaller one , right behind this couch . I’ve only got 3 feet from the love seat to the wall so if it’s deeper it may be a wash also

The large one would make a great work table. What is the white table top material made out of?

Also, what kind of soldering station do you have?

Edit: $20 for those tables is crazy!

I just have a soldering iron and don’t even have a holder for it . I think it would be a great investment to buy a decent one though with the temperature control and all that good stuff .
Ya 20 bucks is insane lol . I’d hate to know what they were new .

Not sure what the top is . I would have been more thorough but I wasn’t overly interested at the time. I’m assuming mdf coated with arborite , but not sure .
Hope it’s some kind of crazy high density plastic composite, as they are not warped at all

Well bummer bruhs . The lady hadn’t paid yet and it was only 40 bucks for the set of 3 pictured above . Well I sat around because the manager said they’re all mine if she doesn’t show up before 5:30 .
Things were looking promising when she suddenly appears . Faurk I was bummed , but I did get the mid sized one as they had one left, and only cost 20 bucks.
Then I find out they have this cart with dolly’s on it that normally costs $450 and got that for 30 bucks. The cart is one of those 2 tiered things that have a lower base and an upper section where you can put your tools etc and move stuff around the shop , so that was a bonus
