Thread is (SRS)
Since it’s January- is anyone interested in this? I’m not the person that kept this going in OG misc but I don’t think they post here.

Not sure how big the reading pool is here- I’m gonna pick a book to read so even if it’s just me I’ll have to keep bumping it

OK so I'm finally starting a book
I have started Brandon Sanderson Mistborn:The Final Empire
I heard this universe was bought by Apple so I am going to start it and see how I like it.

I was going to start a book thread, but luckily I thought to do a search and found THIS thread.
I have been re-reading several of my existing books of late. I recently read through the main seven GOT books, as hadn't read them since 2015 or so.
Just finished reading 'The Slob' yesterday. Read it as I heard it is one of the most disgusting novels written. Now reading 'Playground' from the same author; Aron Beauregard. His style is part of the splatterpunk horror genre.

I have liked reading in the past and I can read whole books - I can read them in one sitting.
People with ADHD can stay engrossed in things they find interesting.
I have been coping with this shit for most of my life. With massive amounts of strategies to stay functional. It has led me to believe that those things were normal because they were giving me decent results but demands on me have gotten more and those coping methods aren’t working anymore.

I am into Chris Carter's 'Robert Hunter' detective novels. I head been to the library and read everyone they have. Same for Mark Billingham's 'Tom Thorne' detective novels. I have read maybe 4 of the many Jack Reacher novels.

Been re-reading books I already have.
As Good as Dead - Mark Billingham
currently rereading New Testament (old testament was not easy reading, so much detail and all those weird names)
