I just invented a paradox. Henceforth known as Gerald's Paradox.
Multiplying 1 by 0 (1 x 0) is said to be equal to 0 (nothing)
But multiplying something (1) by nothing (0) doesn't change the fact that the something (1) still exists
It doesn't disappear to nothing
Same goes for any other number (5, 100, 5000, etc to infinity) if multiplied by 0
Except if that other number is also 0, since it didn't exist in the first place when multiplied by another 0
And therein lies the paradox
Smugness intensifies

No. If you take an apple for example, and you count that apple zero times, then you have not counted that apple. That's how that works.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

good one spastic, however, multiplication does not describe existence; it describes quantity.
Zero is not “nothingness” in a metaphysical sense, it is a number that means none counted.
When you multiply one by zero, you are not erasing the one; you are stating that zero groups of one are taken, yielding zero as a result.
The object does not vanish, disappear, or negate its own existence.
Only the count is zero.
Confusing existence with quantity creates the illusion of a paradox.
Nothing is being destroyed, cancelled, or undone.
Mathematics never claims the thing ceases to exist, only that nothing is obtained from the operation.

Let's put it in Zhang terry math
Your total bonus is the number of insole conversions times your conversion bonus
So if you get 2 dollars for each insole but sold zero insoles that's 2 x 0 so you still get zero dollars
Normally he has his mom do the math for him
