Dealt with this in the past, biggest things that helped me:

- Changing work situation out of a stressful unrewarding job I hated
- Sleeping next to someone
- Occupying my time with non-stressful, but stimulating stuff like meaningful work and education
- Getting a better mattress
- Getting off any sort of alarm for a month or so and letting my body sleep/wake as it wanted
- Not taking things too seriously for a while

currently going throught that shit since i quit heavy drinking & weed, on week 4 and it's getting better, getting atleast 5 hours nowadays.

read about CBT-I & Sleep Restriction Therapy.

Shit gets better after a few weeks. Don't rely on meds ever unless you didnt sleep at all for 72hours plus and need a day to erase some of the sleep deprivation debt (ded fknsrs)

one thing to remember : no one ever died from insomnia, so relax it will get better

OP try taking a couple of calcium b4 bed time . Multi minerals help also but I can’t find them separate from vitamins anymore . Vitamins will keep you away
Also use blue blocker glasses when using a tablet or monitor . That excessive blue light is poison imo

Good to hear, yeah I'm down from over like 20 beers a day to 4 now. Only drinking them because otherwise I'm up all night and sweating my ass off.

Cardio ,cardio ,cardio

Gota make yourself tired

Valerian root

Mag,tho I cant take it ,in any form separately ,get mine from sea salt and multi

Your nervous system and brain need trace elements ,if you are excluding sodium and drinking a f ton of water youre going to have issues

I put a 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt in the 3 liters of water i drink a day, only on days I know I won't be eating alot of sodium

Not all sea salt is created equal ,baja gold is far superior

It has lower sodium and higher magnesium and potassium, calcium

Comes from sea of Cortez

i know shit is hard my brah but gotta lay off the beers even if it's 1 or 4 for at least 10 days - 2 weeks and tough it out. it's gonna be a ride but hella worth it and you'll be much better afterwards

i went from 1-2 bottles of whisky every weekend + few strong beers everyday + weed to 0 everything cold turkey, you can do it too

What "worked" was 100mg of Nytol...but I felt groggy as hell the next morning.

More natural remedies were avoiding screen time before bed, avoid any kind of stimulant for several hours before bed, sleep in a dark and quiet room with comfortable temperature, Chamomile tea near bedtime, good sleep hygiene, only being near your bed when it is time for actual sleep (not lying on it during the day like a slug).
