It's amazing and if you have aches, pains or any other underlying injuries/issues start doing it srs. I do yoga on my off days when I don't lift. I'm 57 and have zero aches/pains or injuries anywhere...how many people my age say that.

You've been around just as long, talked just as much shit and no one has a clue what you look like

Difference is you had 50+ alts and conducted conversations back and forth with each of them all day

Tough to lift when you're doing that

Yoga's great once or twice a week, but I wouldn’t want to be one of those every-morning weirdos. I’ve been following along with YouTube videos that focus on the legs, mainly the hamstrings and hips.

Gota stretch as you age ,6 days a week for me ,esp leg on the table and face to knee with straight leg

Tight hams wreck your back

But anything associated with waist should be hit ,flexors etc

That's the plan as I get older—I don't want to become one of those old guys who can't move around the house or store without assistance.

It helps build upper body strength and flexibility and posture. Plus.. I love to go for ice cream with my yoga girls after. Want to do that one day yoga class then ice cream shop?

I've been wanting to do a yoga class or 2 a week for the past few years to see if it helps with stiffness and range of motion, but they are all durring the day during the work week at my gym.

But do me a favor and shoot me if I ever get into "yoga culture" and post pics in various weird positions online.

Have a friend who's jacked and does yoga to meet yoga girls, and he's quite successful at it. He rotates studios every few months so that if he hooks up with more than one girl, he doesn't have to feel awkward if it comes out. Can't blame him at all.

I'm tempted to take a yoga class for that exact reason.

My brother works in construction, (since he was 18) and is close to 60 now. He does yoga a few times a week for his lower back and says it does provide relief for him.

I guess it's not a one size fits all...

True ,everyones ailment is different, muscle ,bone

Everyone's body reacts differently

I was speaking from my pov ,and construction wear is pretty broad

I shouldn't have been so general

I just spam back extensions and abs. Starting to incorporate weighted leg raises for hip flexors also. Pretty insane how much better I feel just by adding these few movements. I'd also get a reverse hyper if I had space for it.
