Good. I hate zombie/zombie adjacent films that focus on the gimmick of "Humans are the real bad guys!". Enough already. We've seen it so many times. Just give us the zombies. It's a film. Think of ways to give us good zombie action for 90 minutes and then fuck off.

But the 28 Years Later franchise might still end up being profitable. Hopefully the third film focuses on, you know, the zombies.

I don't know those runs of Halloween sequels didn't exactly inspire me they could make great slashers and the creativity has only declined since the 00's

Try to check out foreign films especially Japanese, South Korean, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Terrifier series is the closest thing, and they are more just gore porn. The Evil Dead movies have been decent, although they also have a paranormal theme to them. Final Destination Bloodlines was pretty damned good too.

With the way kills have been taken to the extreme lately, it's hard to have a legit slasher that people want to watch.
