Not many other options available to prop up a ponzi scheme economy than to feed the system from the bottom though.
I suspect the US will be doing more of the same (again) in a few more years when the political winds turn (again).
"Spain's socialist-led coalition government has been an outlier on this issue among the larger European nations, underlining the importance of migrants for the economy. The country has been outperforming the other main EU economies in recent years, posting expected growth of close to 3% in 2025. Unemployment, a longstanding weakness of the Spanish economy, has dipped below 10% for the first time since 2008, according to figures released on Tuesday."

People will say it's for other reasons but I'm pretty sure everything is done because of money. The ones making decisions wouldn't allow this sort of thing if they didn't think it would help make them rich. Maybe I'm too cynical or it's different in Spain.

Hungary gave massive tax incentives for people who have more kids. Like if you have 4 kids you pay zero income tax for life. I'd like to see that here in Canada as well.

Something like 70% of the world is below the proper replacement rate, and the only places that aren't are shitholes like Africa.

And if you bring in immigrants, they will bring the population up and they’ll have kids, but then their kids will have less kids as well. So it’s really just putting a bandaid over a gaping wound, and the bandaid winds up causing cancer

Like I said, this goes all the way back to when Augustus became the emperor of Rome, and implemented the Julian Reforms to preserve Rome.
And guess what. It didn't work.
The real point is that under western liberal orthodoxy of individualism and its market ideology western governments don't believe in tribalism, and that you can swap any people out and replace any person regardless their geography.
Blood and soil is taboo.
The seeds of the west are encoded with its destruction, and there is no stopping it.
Conservatives cant have their pie and eat it too.

It's just another symptom of a dying empire with no way to reverse it.
Crying about immigration is wasted energy.
In order for your dear capitalism to work it needs growth across the board. Governments need people to tax. And people to staff their militaries.

You saw remnants of that going up until around the aftermath of 9/11. Both of the neighborhoods I grew up in were tight knit. Now neighbors are basically strangers.
I really don’t get conservatives who stand up for the global elite corporations, who in turn utterly despise conservatives and everything they stand for. I’m not a socialist by any means but ok sure, tax their assets etc higher. They despise people like me who believes in tight knit communities and believe in a strong nation whose people built its values

Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to over 3,000,000 illegal aliens.
Meanwhile Obama deported over 2,500,000 illegal aliens.
So the Republicans gave amnesty to over 3,000,000 illegals with the hope they would vote for them???
The stupidly of American Conservatives knows no limit. Or their voters.
