I'm getting paid 22.18 an hour for retail- is this good?

18.13 an hour is the starting wage for my keyholder position



With commission and bonuses, I'm at 22.18 an hour

Is this good?

Well if you're $4 above the starting wage, that's decent. However $22 CAD is like $16 USD, so not great. Always room to grow tho.

I wouldn't get out of bed for less than $100 an hour, enough interest to work 30 hours a week starts at $130 an hour or $202,800 a year - even then I wouldn't be happy to take a pay cut.

Tbh if you are career retailing you should try to get into a Costco. I was in my 20s making 29/hr to push carts after I topped out there.
