Who are these people voting for gambling?

It seems like in the last 5-10 years gambling has really taken off with Draftkings, Polymarket, Kalsi, etc.

I don't remember it being like this before then.

Gambling used to be confined to Las Vegas and shitty reservation casinos

Who are the people voting for this and normalizing it? Surely this can't be the will of the public?
