Paintball

@ectobruh

how much paint do you shoot in a day? how many hours? what type do you play? how much do you pay for case of paint now?

do you think my old JT mask is still good (seems fine to me) or should I get a new one? It's 22 years old.

man, my buddies and i used to tear up the woods with our tippmanns

also had a pm6 to play speedball with

one of my good friends had a paintball club at his college and ended up playing semiprofessionally but there's really no money in it unless you're a sponsored pro

speedball was tons of fun, but you went through paint SO quickly. my dad would usually give me money to buy a case of 2000 for the weekend and that was it lol

Case is 1k or 2k? $20 a practice isn't bad at all, but I'm not sponsored obviously. maybe I'll plan on $40

I think paintball has been dead for a long time. I used to be really into it.

I still have my old Shocktech SFT in the closet.

Used to play a lot in high school. My older cousin was semi pro and was sponsored by one of the local stores in our area. I used to get all his used gear. Rocked a mini mag for a long time until he gave me an impluse that was tricked out.

what do you think about a dye rize + halo too + and a 68/4500 that needs hydro test for $250? should I aim for a better setup?

I bought an etha 3m for mech. this one caught my eye as a maybe good deal too to try out an electronic. I think I'm going to end up like mech more though.

when I played as a kid I didn't have money for nice guns or much paint and now I have plenty of money so I kind of want to try everything.

I'll keep an eye out on trade my gun for a 170 then I think

I don't think I want to drop $500 on a second gun yet though.

Blown away that pb still exists.

Literally no speedball places around me anymore. I’d love to play again, but my tank is well past hydro. I’d buy a new one if there was literally anywhere to still play.

NE Ohio. We used to have several fields, but they’re all gone now. TPA still existed before the pandemic, but was woodsball only. The smart parts field in PA closed 15+ years ago.

It would be fun to run a day at speedball, but I think USPSA is more fun. Bunch of ex paintballers compete. Seems the logical progression.
