This doesn't get talked about enough. Especially in public. Everyone kinda has it in the back of their head but no one wants to rly mention it or seem weak. But it's secretly fkn everyone's nervous system up.
I dunno bout the rest of u but i aint been moving the same since 2014. My sensory detectors stay overworking. This ain't good for ur body srs

I think the sudden, societal shift and break from routine of Covid is what broke the normies. Their brains just couldn't process it.
People who are basically NPC's are erratic and on edge all the time now. Quick to anger and impatient for no reason. I don't remember it being that way in like 2019

I could see that. I also blame phones. I don’t think our heads are supposed to be down so much and the constant stimuli. I feel like I know how to solve 75% of my problems but I don’t because my phone is serving as too much of a distraction.
I had the sensation like my bed and blanket felt really comforting- and it only lasted for a second but I remembered the feeling from when my nervous system wasn’t so shot. It’s weird.

I've never been concerned about being a target in a mass shooting, OP. Not even once. And I consider myself to be a moderately anxious person when among crowds. Is this really a fear that the average person has?

I think it's really because we used to live in a civilized high-trust society but certain demographics have ruined that. Now most big cities are "never relax" zones.

i think its more about the political divide we have now, which is mostly the pure vitriol from the left who somehow thinks people who disagree with them are evil and deserve prison or death
actual shootings are rare as ever
