Too heavy

If you can't control the negative through it's natural path and drop it slow - it's the strongest part of the lift and will yield the best results for strength and size growth - you're compromising your results.

Drop the ego and get bigger quicker.

It's actually the first part of the curl where the cheating makes it easier. Dropping down and starting with a that little swing to get an elbow bend eliminates the hardest part

I used to do curls like that with the 80s thinking I was tough but they would have been more effective if I dropped 10-15 pounds, and started slow and controlled instead of the spastic twitch at the beginning to get a good elbow bend

66 kg?

Have you thought about maybe lifting and eating on a consistent basis?

For those criticizing OP, ask yourself:

Are you 66kg?

Are you 58 years old?

Das it mane.
If youre actually 66kg you could probably train for a strict curl competition and hold records. Dedfknsrs.

Adult open record is 71kg at 67.5kg.

I just thought about it and realized that 66kg is 142lbs. That's not even small for someone lean. When you consider that the average miscer is probably 5'7, they would probably be in the 130s if they got lean.

Lol @ the guys making fun of OP who think they're "big" when really, they're just fat.

Op would probablu be in the 155s 160s if his legs were on par with upperbody. But fuck that shit.
Nobody gives a fuk about legs.

Op needs to never train legs and compete on the curl.
