It's about quality over quantity

1) Very few threads make it beyond 2-3 pages of replies, so you can actually take the time to read them

Previous versions of Misc a lot of threads would be 5+ pages within a couple of hours so you couldn't keep up
And years ago your thread would be off the main page of the forum in less than a minute because of how many dozens of new threads people were starting
Even my obviously trolling threads would have multiple pages of replies even though people should have known better
I'd just start a thread that only contained a few sentences and it would be 5+ pages of rustlemaxxing before you knew it

2) A lot less animosity and overall negativity

This is mainly due to the strict rules enforcement and bannings
Others might disagree, but it keeps people in check when there's consequences for not complying with the rules

3) Us old school miscers got our old accounts with all the reps reactivated

Its #2 and always will be until we can say p@j33t.
