AI is completely ruining Youtube

I've clicked on about 10 youtube videos today and 70% of them were AI slop.

Not only did they use an AI voice, but it was obviously also written by AI.

15-20 minute videos of a robot talking non stop and no one in the comments knows or cares It's all AI.

Youtube videos are now basically ChatGPT audios being played.

Some of those videos are playing in the background and it would take me sometimes 5 minutes to figure out this is just ChatGPT talking to me on autopilot.

There's something so empty about realising you were listening to a robot the whole time.

I don't think anything will rot your brain more than this shit.

AI is ruining Facebook too even worse than it wise. AI is actually ruining everything.

I wish society used it as justification to go back living in the 90's. I wish smart phones went away and Nextel came back.

Most adverts now are AI too words can't describe how much I hate that shit and whoever invented it needs to fist themselves to death

been seeing so many fake profiles online too with AI generated chicks that have 10/100s of thousands of followers lol it's insane, and everyone just commenting on posts as if it's a real person

probably someone making decent cash from that too, generate a bunch of fake bishes, get thousands of followers and then put up some AI generated nudes on an OF type platform for all those blind simps to subscribe to

I was watching a video of some physicist giving a lecture on space travel last night. A couple minutes in I realize his lips aren’t matching his words, I look closer and realize it’s a fucking AI generated video.

I used to think that society would eventually turn against internet-connected technology as a result of the AI takeover. I now realize that I have a bad habit of continuously giving folks far too much credit. After a big chunk of the population injected an untested vaccine into their arm in hopes of preventing the sniffles, I now expect most folks to lay on their backs and spread wide for AI. Zero faith in any other response.

Adverts out of control and ruin vids
Too many 'following the trend' type channels, like ASMR, Reading scary stories, stupid pranks, reacting to things

This is what happens when you have a platform on which up to 3.6 million vids are uploaded every DAY. No moderation or quality check.

YT back in 2008'ish was fucking GOAT. At least the vids were real, and channels actually had to be good to get popular.
