Figured since we had a popular thread like this in the old O35, maybe it could work here as well. Especially since seen about 3 different attempts at getting a camping thread going, and being outside often come up as a way to manage stress or make for good hobbies.

Thinking we could have a place to share experiences and knowledge, or just ask questions.

Not been into it of before, but with a photography hobby I got a little taste for it, and figured I should explore more things. Been too lazy so far though.

What I'd like to learn about and have no experience with is fishing. Then later more about what can find that's edible in the forest, and possibly some kayaking. Regarding fishing, I'd just like to start simple with ”metfiske” - not sure what the english word is (google didn't give translation) - where you just sit down and chill at local lakes with a 5 meter (telescope) pole. Starting by saving some local youtube guides and so on.
