anyone got chickens?

picked up these little phaggots today. had a raccoon get my last 2 hens just had a 1 rooster for awhile.

also protip dont be buying chips or hay for nesting, just use chainsaw chips if u got one. cut the wood vertical for long stringy carvings

will be awhile but will be good to have eggs again

i cant believe people pay for bags of wood chips or bales of hay, most people that have chickens would probably have at least a small chainsaw handy. just use canola oil for the bar oil for the shavings as the typical synthetic stuff can agitate the chickens

I have an unholy mess of birds. Good luck with the raccoons. Trap and eliminate. They have no mercy and you can’t afford to have any either

i had more trouble with weasels than rakkits in the past, it was my fault really, i fell asleep and forgot to close the their hatch door before dark all it took was one night of slipping up. these little bastards are black stars, but i've mostly had orphingtons, rhode island reds or barred rocks

Nice!

Mirin chain saw – if Husqvarna there. Worked there a few summers and a couple of months between colleges. Broke the manual chain saw packaging record – when it happened the whole factory got ice cream, lol. Was so proud I put that on my first resume, as had nothing else.
