Facts. Not only a top tier sandwich, but usually my benchmark trying out a new place to eat. If they have a Reuben on the menu I always get it first and see how they do. Tells me all I need to know about the place.

This. I hate when I try a new deli and their Reuben’s corned beef tastes like some shitty prepackaged lunch meat. Ruins the whole place forever for me.

Reuben sucks, but it's because of the dressing and sauerkraut.

The best sandwich is Extra Lean Corned Beef, Swiss Cheese and Yellow Mustard. Grilled.

All types of Brisket you need to ask for them extra lean. This includes Texas BBQ restaurants as well. If you don't ask, they will give you pieces that are 50% fat. I ain't paying $20/lb for 50% fat

That sauerkraut is fine but that kimchi is not it mane.

There's fermentation and then there's straight up rotting. I've tried that costco kimchi 3-4 times over the years and each time it was rotting, not fermenting.

I'm not talking about kimchi in general, I'm talking about that specific brand from costco. Try a different brand from an Asian supermarket and you can probably see the difference then between what fermented tastes like and straight up rotting tastes like.

And yes, I've bought sloppy glass jars overflowing with juices from the asian supermaket with no english markings on the bottle besides "KIMCHI".

didnt even think they could be a difference in taste, just in spiciness.
