I sold my weight sled to a former NHL player. I liked it, but damn it was loud on pavement, shredded grass and was too loud/grindy in my home gym

That’s why I bought two sets of plastic shoes so it wouldn’t tear up the driveway. Hopefully it won’t be too bad.

Plan is to use the driveway. But if that doesn’t work out for some reason, I can always throw it in the back of the truck and go take it to a parking lot somewhere. That obviously would not be ideal.

Was looking at one them plate loaded wheelbarrow type beats. Titan makes one. You ever thought about getting one of these? Seems pretty multi functional

If this sled doesn’t work out in the driveway for whatever reason, yeah that’s probably the next move. And probably not even a Titan wheelbarrow like that, just an Ace Hardware wheelbarrow that I can throw some rocks/weights into.

Neato. Any plans for how you'll program it? My hometown gym had a sled, but it's been many years since I was there. Would sort of just do a few high intensity laps towards the end of my workout. Cardio I guess?

I doubt I’ll program it as cardio. I’ve been doing 30 min fasted LISS cardio on the bike for several years now, and that works for me.

I’ll probably use it more like a leg exercise (e.g. 3 sets of 60 seconds) as a hamstring/posterior chain volume.

I guess I could experiment with doing pushes as HIIT cardio a couple times per week. We’ll see.
