I put a flea collar on my semi-feral cat for the first time

In July of 2024 a cat made friends with me, and basically moved in with me. I bought her a litter box, cat litter, dry food, and canned food.

Lately she’s been having fleas, so I ordered a flea collar from Amazon and it arrived today. She didn’t like me putting it on, she basically flipped out, but I managed to secure it onto her neck.

I’m going to have to do this every 7 months.

When my mom was alive she had a cat and she was say things like “The cat is mad at me”

My cat seemed mad after I put the flea collar on her, but I don’t think cats are capable of holding grudges like people are

In the last week I’ve worried about that twice, some animals were beefing and I heard barking and thought there might be a fox. I live in a rural area, and have seen foxes around here before. She always came home, though
