Anyone still taking creatine?
Used to all the time 10+ years ago. Then on and off occasional as I found it was mostly placebo other than helping me put on water weight. Now I'm seeing recent studies within the last year or so that apparently it helps reduce anxiety by increasing serotonin? Thinking of ordering some again since it's cheap enough.

I take 5g basically 5 days per week, then a week off every 6 weeks or so to "reset". Have done that since I started lifting regularly.

Been using it almost daily for over 20 years now. I've gone some stretches without it and strength loss is absolutely noticeable. No need to get fancy like way back when with the creatine ethyl-ester or anything like that. 5g of good ol fashioned monohydrate is fine. Still to this day is one of the most, if not most, researched supplements on the planet. And time and time again, so long as you're staying hydrated and don't have any ridiculous preexisting conditions, it's shown as nothing but beneficial is a whole slew of areas and functions.

I tried taking it a bit like 6 months ago, and realized that it fucks up my sleep. Longer to fall asleep and lower quality.
I'd like to be able to take it, but I'm on TRT now and have plenty of miscle mass that looks much leaner than creatine muscle already.

Started taking it again last year after all the recent hype about general health benefits. I hadn't taken it for like 20 years
Recently I have been experimenting with megadosing to see if I can notice the cognitive benefits that are supposed to come with higher doses

Only supplements I'll never be without:
Muira puama + catuaba (the secret of secrets both marketed as aphrodisiacs but they put test through the roof and have nootropic benefits)
Liquid gold multivitamin source naturals (expensive but worth every penny cures a hangover in the morning within 20mins no matter how fucked up i got the night before)
schisandra for liver protection inhibits Fibrosis of the liver + many other benefits
ashwagandha before bed helps me sleep

I take 10g a day, tremendous for my progress and recovery
I'll take 25g if I've had a rough lack of sleep for dat dere cognition preservation, may be a placebo but I can't remember ever feeling brain fog after a lack of sleep when taking that much in the morning

Mono made me constipated and didn't make a big difference, so I stopped. I take a half dose of HCL every day just because it seems like a good idea. Full dose didn't do much. No sides or bloating with HCL. Haven't really noticed any real benefit from mono or HCL either tbh.
