what age did u guys start "feelin" it

like the moment u realize "woah" im not young anymore, or "im not like i use to be" etc etc

starting to feel it at 29. but going to try reversing it, i really noticed it shovelings snow this winter, i was getting out of breath fairly fast and noticing i wasnt what i use to be. we all have this immortal feeling in our youth, what age did u lose it? I lost it this winter at 29. But im going to start working cardio to reverse course. I do a lot "exercise" for my job(forestry) but it isn't like jogging or sprinting, im not getting out of breath or moving too fast etc, so not the same.

I think both of these things are fixable I need to stretch and sleep better

The only thing I feel on occasion is a little bit of fatigue...which I think it's more menopause related. I've mentioned this numerous times in different threads, no meds, no aches, pains, stiffness or any type of nagging injuries. I know at my age most people feel something, but I feel fine all around srs.

there is NO way you could do cardio wise what u could at 27 at age 57, sorry not possible. maybe close, you have worked hard to keep in shape, but 30 years of aging and u want to compare 27 v 57? oh my goodness dear

I feel it now, changed up deadlifts and backsquats for hex bar deadlifts and front squats. Cardio is fine still though. Also wake up with random weird muscle pains. lol

What do you mean cardio wise? Give me some examples because I have no idea what you're talking about? I've been shoveling all winter with no issues. I've been training and doing cardio consistently for over 42 yrs. Just because of my age doesn't mean I should feel a certain way because you say so. It's not a one size fits all just because of a certain number.

Not sure what else to tell you.

I'm not sure why you think I'd lie about something like that...that's ridiculous. Like I said, I feel a little more fatigue on occasion. Everything else, I have no issues.

I'll let you get back to your thread. :)

Edit: At 27 I was more tired. I was working full time, raising babies, running a household, gym, etc...constantly on the move lol.

I read an article not long ago that said you don't age at a steady rate, but rather you two rapidly changing periods with the rest more gradual. The rapid periods are in the mid-40's and early 60's. I'm in my mid-40s and feel pretty good, generally, but it seems like I'm getting injured a lot more and taking more time to heal.

Capable of what? What am I supposed to be feeling, you tell me. You said you were having issues shoveling and getting out of breath faster than usual. That's just a matter of building up your cardio...which you can fix and you'll feel fine. You're 29...that's young. A body in motion, stays in motion...you've heard the commercial.

I think you just want me to fall apart at this point...for all I know you just jinxed me.
