I walked for 30 minutes today and really liked it...

Been a while since I did anything like that and it was fun. I liked it more then weight lifting or bodyweight exercises.

Going to do this everyday now, maybe more duration.

Have to stock up on extra tshirts, trousers, socks and underwear.

Why do you need extra underwear for a 30 min brisk walk?
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Need more underwear as in summers give you sweaty underwear, (I mean you can still wear it more but it becomes dirty and smelly rather quickly), so if I have more stock, I will need to do laundry less often.

Walking is underrated as a cardio exercise but it's getting the motivation to head out the door like u said that's the issue. I want to get down to 170lbs and walking daily is the ticket and cleaning up my diet

How often do you change your drawers? Assuming a fresh pair every day like a normal person, why would you have to do laundry more or less frequently depending on the season?

I do laundry once every 10 days. Most of the stuff I buy runs for like 2 years each. Let's assume I put on a fresh underwear in the morning, then I decide to walk in it outdoors for 1 hour in a hot summer evening, it will surely get sweaty, stinky and dirty by then to the point you will not consider wearing it again till it's washed. Then at night if I have to go somewhere like mall, restaurant, bar or a club or meet someone, then I would have to put on a fresh underwear. Same would apply to most clothes like shirts or socks.

So where as in you might need like 7 clean underwear for every 10 days without exercise or walk, but if exercise or walk come into play you might end up needing 10 clean underwear for every 10 days. Getting my point?

i did 40k steps last saturday, 17.2 miles. just over 6hrs. but i do walk quite a lot. not much this week because i am doing a lot of fasting. currently at 23.5hrs

but i don't wear underwear. only if i am needing a suit. it's good for dating because you can also fk outdoors without needing to get your dong through your undies

40k steps in a day is a lot, but I can assume with time, daily practice and dedication one can make such progress eventually.

Do you have any specific diet plan and objectives for too much walking?

I wear underwear because I feel same like weight lifting where if you don't wear underwear one might get hernia.

My end goals from walking are belly fat loss (not overall body weight reduction). So I would still be eating good amounts (but making sure it's going to be very low fat).

My other goals of walking are less stress, better posture, endurance, stamina, muscle strength, less boredom.

I can assume it would be different kind of fun walking at different places, might add in a mp3 player to tasks later on.

Moderate walking has calm and relaxing vibes to it, you kind of go through relaxed thought pattern. I think that's why people might end up enjoying exercise or walk.

for sure 40k is a lot. probably too much if you walk regularly. that day i did 30k in the morning, and another 10k in the evening. it was more just to see if i could do it. the feet were starting to feel it, the right footwear will make a big difference and socks.

objectives? kind of just a test to push the body and mind. it gives me time to reflect too, it's a good de-streser. walking can get addictive too.

i dont really have a diet plan for walking but i rest up the day before if i am planning something like 25k+. i'd say though to know your body because if you are out walking all day or for hours, odds on you'll want to drop some bombs on route, so either make sure you are empty before venturing out or plan a route where you know there could be a toilet - just in case.

i actually had to hit up a hospital at around 25k, i took a couple of white zero ultras, and could feel after 3 hours or so my body telling me something was coming, caffeine from one can do that - and i had been to drop the kids off at the pool (poop) before i set off.

i walk fasted. i guess to try and tap into the fat stores as glycogen stores are low if i am low carb the day or 2 before. i think regular walking and restricted calories for sure is a good combo. but so is complete fasting for 50 hours and just doing nothing but resting. in b4 CICO nerds say fasted cardio doesn't do anything.

i want to be mobile too when i am an oldcell, and i think staying active keeps you young, you don't have to push it hardcore, so a few hours of walking for sure is good for the body. and it helps with posture if you pay attention to how you walk, how you lean, your strides etc. you can always switch things up too to use different muscles.

i do want to hit 50k in a day, but not sure how i will do that, maybe 2 x25k, or try to do it all in 1 go, either way (not sure i could do that - like 7.5 to 8hrs is overkill, but a challenge) - the body for sure would feel it the next day too. feet will hurt.

random routes are the best way to go farther. having good weather makes it a lot easier too. sunshine puts you in the happy mood and seeing others out and about.

Interesting adventures! I am starting a journey of my own, I will keep updating here...first step is to buy more clothes and undergarments.

My knees are crushed from years of running 50 miles a month, so I ruck now. I’m up to an 80 lb pack and I walk all over town/country side for 60-80 minutes a few times a week

I felt it myself, walking is more satisfying and relaxing then jogging or running. So when you are relaxed kinda, you want to walk more and more.
