... So you don't have to bend and twist. The 5's can be at the bottom like an inverted pyramid. Common fucking sense. Clown world stuff

Depends on the weight tree I guess, on a triangle one that's probably fine, but on one thats straight up and down the rack would theoretically tip over
The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Most of the standalone plate stands are designed for the heavier plates to be at the bottom, and are spaced accordingly so you'd not be able to rearrange them.
On benches, racks, and machines it absolutely makes the most sense for the heaviest plates to be closest to where they'd be loaded onto the bar. My gym is pretty good about this, but there's always going to be some faggot/foid that leaves the 5lb plates on the 45lb rack because it's closest.

Most decent gyms have weight racks that are pyramid shaped so you don't have to dig weights out
Also, anyone using those tiny weights is a complete pussy so they might throw their back out having to pick them up from the floor

Ded srs OP that’s what I designed into my home made bumper plate trees . Had a coworker come over and use my gym one time and was definitely mirin .
You can see holes that I had in the prototype. I went numerically first time around , and although I knew it was probably a mistake putting the 45’s at the bottom , I did a trial run anyways and it sucked .
So I fixed the little things on 2.0
Makes no sense to fiddle around at the bottom to get the 45’s , and then try to line them up to put them back . Definitely sweet grabbing them at chest height .
Interestingly enough it’s a cake walk to take and place the 35’s on the bottom . Funny how 10 pounds changes everything.
But disclaimer, I rarely used the 35’s anyways , as I’m always using the 45’s , 25’s , 10’s and 5’s . So it’s a perfect system for me

Nah
Better to weed out the weakies like OP who find them being at the bottom too much of a challenge/problem.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
