You have been allowing targeted harassment and bullying on your forum and never do anything about it. You talk all this talk about standards and rules and behavior yet the behavior of some users is absolutely deplorable and the community is becoming extremely toxic and dying off as you never crackdown on any of them so they feel enabled to just keep upping the bullying behavior.

Yeah this forum just has a really unpleasant atmosphere right now. In the old misc it's like people would joke around and say shit but there is a big difference between playful banter and hateful and malicious behavior. This community used to lean in the former, but now it leans heavily into the latter. Some users are just really running this community into the ground with their behavior and I haven't seen any indication of that even being discouraged despite the rules they're apparently breaking all the time messing with users they hate the way they do.

As a result it's just not a forum that seems to be welcoming to anyone besides people who want to be mean and aggressive towards others. I came here to just relax and hang out chatting about daily shit, not to be harassed by some assholes and fight with them for hours. Some people are clearly coming here to act maliciously and really seem to get enjoyment out of it, and that's basically the only type of user they are going to have eventually if it never gets discouraged.

Rules 2.1 and 4.1 address bullying and harassment, respectively. Neither is allowed on OB. Please use the report button or contact me directly at contact@obnoxiousbrutes.com. I consider reputation comments to be private communication, but I still expect the spirit of Rule 2 (Respectful Conduct) to be followed in all interactions on OB.

As moderation features are still being developed, there may be some delays, but all reports will be reviewed and appropriate action will be taken.

Version 1.4.0 will include updates to address harassment in reputation comments, and v1.5.0 will introduce an ignore user feature.

You should make it so the ignore feature basically works as a block feature, meaning any users someone ignores will not be able to view any of their posts or activity or rep/neg them in any way. That would clear up all the toxicity real quick.
