I think it should be illegal to bury the dead. (srs)

It's such a morbid thing to do, fellas. Stick dead bodies in the ground.... It's really sick. Why is that even still happening? What even is the point? It's crazy that folks will finance a nice plot, buy an expensive casket, pay for the embalming, find a nice suit.....then dump the guy right in the ground and cover him with dirt. Just like dogs do with their fresh coil. Visit a few times over the years, and that's it.


Can we just stop it already? Burn them. Burn the dead. It's silly to litter the hollow grounds with dead corpses. It disgusts me, boys. It really does. The whole spectacle is appalling.

No one is really getting buried. Do you actually think there's land to put all of these dead people?

Just look around you at all the traffic and crowds literally everywhere you go. And that's just the current people living here and now above the ground. I'm supposed to believe all these people throughout history each have enough space to be put in a coffin bigger than their body lying horizontally and spaced out evenly all across the land to have their own personal space for 100s of years?

I'm here to tell you what actually happens is these cemeteries pretend to bury someone, have the ceremony, let people throw in a handful of dirt, etc, then lift the coffin back out after people have left and burn the body and fill the hole then put grave marking basically with little to no space separating them. Have you ever been to a grave yard? There's no way there's enough spacing for bodies to be buried between the markings.

FYI, if you took every living body in the world and stood them shoulder to shoulder, they would still be able to fit within the city of Los Angeles (hypothetically, of course) . LA is around 0.013% of American landmass. Something to think about.

From a strictly environmental standpoint, cremation ashes aren't as good are a biodegradable casket and altered embalming methods to ensure a fully dissolved body- I'd be 100% in favor of the latter.

I'm sympathetic for those that would want a lasting reminder of their loved ones and I'm sure that's the main reason a more biodegradable option isn't the norm

We put trash in the ground(landfills), what is wrong with putting organic things in ground?

Think of how much trash one person produces in their life time and all that goes into a landfill.
