Rumor I just read regarding Trump/Vance
There's rumblings of Trump throwing Vance under the bus for Iran already, which is ludicrous but that's Trump.
What I'm reading behind the scenes is they want Trump to get decimated at midterms, then in January when Trump is past halfway through his administration, Vance invokes the 25th and therefore can have two full terms on top of the two years he'd be named President.
Vance writes a letter saying Trump can't perform duties, Trump writes one back saying he can, so it goes to Congress to decide. Which will be Democrat and happy to get rid of Trump.
Can anyone more in the know clarify if that's how it works? Would be interesting to see if that's the long term play. Gives Vance the ability to have two full terms if he can keep the vote.

Who knows. I would assume that after the midterms when Trump is impeached their will be a good probability he gets convicted, because the economy is going to be in the gutter.
Honestly interested to see how bad the economy gets in 3-6 months when all this filters through the system.

The longer this war drags on and the further his approval ratings drop there's going to be some people looking to bail out to protect their political future so God knows what kind of infighting is happening and what's going to come after the midterms

That would be great but I'll believe it when I see it. It might also kill his political career to take over for Trump considering what a train wreck he's been. When dems have both houses JD's hands will be tied. Would be like taking over as captain of the titanic when it's half under water

If the OP were even remotely possible the left/media wouldnt be pushing that Trump has dementia.
That said, once Trump uses up his usefulness thank him kindly and put him out to pasture for his successor.
