Sunset

Happy Friday. We had a truly top tier sunset yesterday evening. Tons of color with gently falling snowflakes. That's the view out my front door.

Thanks Legz! We get some nice sunsets, but I think that's the prettiest I've seen at my house. The whole sky was lit up with kind of an pinkish-orange glow with big fluffy snowflakes floating down.

That's a nice cityscape! We were in NYC for 4 days recently and did the Empire State Bldg during day and Top of the Rock at night. Was pretty cool seeing the whole city from those heights.

Really good point on timing. Sometimes I look out my back window I can see by the shadows and colors that a pretty sunset is right around the corner. I always go look out front immediately and keep checking every couple minutes because peak conditions a nice sunset are pretty short lived.

@GooBaaa - nice pics. Love the clouds especially in the middle one and the gradient from deep red to blue in the last one.

@MichelleLnne - I'd never heard of blueberry barrens but that is some unique scenery. Love the contrast in colors.

I'll have to add it to my bucket list. I enjoy a good road trip, but New England would be quite a drive for me. We took the whole family to Missouri a few years ago for the eclipse. Perhaps we'll make it to Maine someday.

Mirin OP and other srs. I got a whole bunch, grabbed a few off my phone just then, some are sunsets some are sunrise, I think that last one is an early morning moon lol cant remember. No edits just whatever the phone takes them as.
