Was there an advantage with the Iran war?

Now there is a ceasefire. But what really is the advantage/difference before the war?

Some jews(been reading around with their point of view cuz most I read online are against them/the war) are pissed Trump didn't continue with the war and destroyed Iran, because it is just same as before the war. No changes.

But what do you think?
