GOP PLAN FOR AMNESTY

The List: 19 Republicans Now Back Maria Salazar’s Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2026/04/10/the-list-19-republicans-now-back-salazars-amnesty-for-illegal-aliens/

More than a dozen House Republicans have now thrown their support behind Rep. Maria Salazar’s (R-FL) “Dignity Act,” which would give amnesty to most of the nation’s 11 to 22 million illegal aliens while expanding legal immigration levels by funneling more foreign workers into American jobs.

Those Republicans who are now co-sponsors of the Dignity Act are:
Rep. Michael Lawler (R-NY)
Rep. David G. Valadao (R-CA)
Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA)
Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA)
Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA)
Rep. Gabe Evans (R-CO)
Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-IN)
Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE)
Rep. Young Kim (R-CA)
Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL)
Rep. James Baird (R-IN)
Rep. Lloyd Smucker (R-PA)
Del. Kimberlyn King-Hinds (R-MP-At Large)
Del. James Moylan (R-GU-At Large)
Rep. Monica De La Cruz (R-TX)
Rep. Nick LaLota (R-NY)
Rep. Neal Dunn (R-FL)
Rep. Jennifer Kiggans (R-VA)
Rep. Zachary Nunn (R-IA)

Iran was the tradeoff for keeping 30 million more illegals out of America, but even thats not good enough...

You forgot to mention Trump's endorsement

This is happening because the GOP sees the way their support from hispanics is cratering and they know they can't win without that support, so they think this is the way to bring them back. Nevermind that trump got hispanics on board by promising mass deportations, the opposite of amnesty. These people are utterly incompetent.

I don't like it, but amnesty may provide a path to legal residency and, eventually, citizenship, but it does not confer voting rights on its own. Full voting eligibility requires completing naturalization and registering as a U.S. citizen.

They can get green cards work for now.

Worse, that's counter productive. We want our illegals to stay and become legals.

The solution that would work for Republicans is to pass laws making it extremely tough for illegals to live and work in the US. If you make it hard to get a job, bank, drive, etc they will begin to self deport. This would be a win/win for Republicans because the base gets what they want without the black eye of the mass deportation riots.

Lol, Lalota is my congressman and was actually pretty decent on immigration stuff until now, on NumbersUSA he tanked from a B+ on immigration issues to a D+ just because of his support of this. He should be primaried over this but I think its too late now.

Of course these cucks cant push through a mandatory e-verify bill without poison pills like this attached to it.

GOP plan eh?

So 198 GOP house peeps have not co-sponsored or endorsed...

-The bill needed to help the lady win her district for at least trying has essentially zero realistic chance of passing in the current Congress...

-It only has 39 total cosponsors (including dems)

-House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and GOP leadership have shown no interest in advancing it...

-It’s a House bill that’s been referred to committee since its reintroduction in July 2025 and has seen no meaningful progress toward a floor vote...

https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/4393

-It doesn't have support in the senate

-when asked about it Trumps admin communicates "White House says Trump will ‘not support amnesty’ when asked about Dignity Act"

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/white-house-says-trump-will-not-support-amnesty-when-asked-about-dignity-act/ar-AA1IO02m

And somehow, this is the "GOP" plan

This was strategically, a good move

-she will win her district. There's nothing you could do to primary her.

-she votes for what Trump needs

-she says things maga might not like to her constituents to keep her popular and electable and things that actually can't come to significant fruition

-by Trump endorsing her that keeps her on his team and on the train so she behaves as needed when needed

Keeping people close, keeps them more in check

She is not an executive implementing her agenda , and you have to think about things from a broad strategic approach
